So Easy To Love Mike Williams

Joe could write up a bunch of love for wide receiver Mike Williams, but there’s really no need to go through it all.
Simply, Williams is a serious talent and seems, after two preseason games, like the kind of guy who could easily have 50 catches this year all while he learns and improves and figures out the NFL. (Joe would still settle for 30+ and some touchdowns.)
Joe was taken with Williams at the NFL scouting combine, as Joe wrote many times. There he just looked like a man among boys. And now after two good preseason games, it’s clear the game comes easy to Williams. He just has that “it” factor.
Williams hauled in three catches tonight against the Chiefs in the preseason home opener, and a fourth that was a very nice grab but he didn’t get his second foot in bounds.
Joe’s just sick to his stomach at the thought of Josh Johnson trying to get him the ball when it counts on Sept. 12.

By the way Johnson played tonight, I’m not panicking about Freeman’s injury. I just hope it’s not a fluke and that we saw his real self tonight. You never know!! If Johnson and Carpenter both start playing bad, are there any free agent veterans we could sign??

Can’t understand why you let guys like Radio and Miguel make the comments they do, and not let us respond to their outlandish statements! Greg – Joe’s not blocking your comments in any way. No clue what’s happened to them. Joe doesn’t have the time or desire to “block” comments as they come in. An initial comment is moderated and approved, and then you’re free from there. …Of course, Joe does delete objectionable posts on rare occasion.

Williams looks like an excellent draft choice, assuming he can carry this good play over to the regular season.
The other members of the stupendous draft have yet to distinguish themselves. Of course its way early to draw any conclusions.
Freeman losing valuable play and practice time can’t be helpful to the cause of starting out with a win.

Why’s miguels citizenship in question?? lol Is that assumed because of his name haha come on now.
