Patience. Patience. Patience.

June 26th, 2010

In the latest TBO.com Bucs video blog, Bucs beat writer Anwar Richardson makes a run to unseat dapper Rick Brown, aka Backwards Hat of the Lakeland Ledger, as the sharpest dressed scribe on the Bucs beat.

As for the pressing Bucs concerns discussed on this vlog, Richardson and eye-RAH! Kaufman talk about “The Plan” in place at One Buc Palace.

Kaufman doesn’t seem on board with the whole “patience” mantra being sold by Team Glazer. Check out the video. This one is a bit more entertaining than informative.

    What’s the old saying, “Patience hell! I want to kill something!”

    I can’t believe they all wore the same tie…

    Anwar doesnt seem to realize, the Bucs of 2009 already were competitive in the NFC South. Or doesnt he remember the results? We only got blown out in one game, home vs the Saints. We played the Panthers two games right down to the wire, played Atlanta on the road down to the wire, lost to Atlanta at home in a competitive game, and beat the Saints on the road. Oh wait, that was a fluke win right? Just after the fluke win on the West Coast, something that never happens even when we were competing for SuperBowls each year.

    The only reason the Bucs will have more wins in 2010 is because of going back to the Tampa 2 defense. We let go our only proven playmaker in Antonio Bryant, didn’t replace him with a proven talent, instead with a bunch of low cost, unproven rookies of course. We let go our only good lineman at LDE in Jimmy Wilkerson and didn’t replace him with anyone. Just relying on Kyle Moore, a guy that didn’t do anything last year.

    I’m sick of this “plan” of Raheem and Duminik. Letting go proven NFL players and just throwing a bunch of cheap unprovens into the lineup, not even giving us a chance of competing in 2010. But maybe in 2012 or 2013.

    @Patrick
    What makes you so sure that we’ll have more wins in 2010?

    This statement alone should make you thinks about that “win” statement!
    Oh, I guess 4 wins is more than the 3 wins last year! I get it now! But I think your last paragraph makes much more sense.
