“They Weren’t Going Full Speed”

December 13th, 2009

"Man, you owe me, Gannon."

During the first quarter, CBS color analyst Rich Gannon blasted the Bucs for what he saw at their Friday practice in Tampa.

Gannon said he was “not at all impressed” and the Bucs were “not sharp. They weren’t going full speed” in their red zone work.

Now Joe doesn’t know what Gannon saw. And Joe leaves open the possibility that Gannon might be embellishing to make his old pal Chucky look good. (Especially now that Gannon is calling for Freeman to be pulled from the Jets game in the third quarter.)

But it’s a very troubling thought for Joe to think the Bucs might have been running a half-assed practice.

After all, Raheem The Dream talked all preseason about how his team would practice harder than any other, be more violent, etc.

Yes, what did happen to the “violent” part? Talib has not smashed a cab driver in the face in months!

    Good one Fredrick!

Just like the 0 -27 days from college. This is no team, just give the tickets to the kids in school and let them go. This is horrible, glazers are a joke, as is the rest of this team

not surprising, the one game that I went to vs the Panthers this year, it was night and day in the pregame routine. Balls were on the ground everywhere, players were jogging just a soggy effort. Hell, the kickers didn’t make it out to kick a few before the start, and I’ve never seen that.

Joe be sure to blame this crap on anyone but Glazerhouse and Morris. Dragging Chucky through the mud doesn’t help. Let him go. He wishes you no harm. He’s still cashing checks drawn on Glazerhouse’s bank. How about that coach you and your buddies wanted? It’s Great! A new direction we are headed in. So keep searching for some one else to blame next week. Maybe Kaufman can give you an idea. Just don’t blame it on our coach who can barely coach a middle school team.

    simple to say
