The Effort Was There, Faine Claims

Jeff Faine says the Bucs are not losing due to a lack of effort.
Speaking on the Buccaneers Radio Network following the game, Faine was asked if the Bucs offense is so putrid due to the fact the Bucs are loafing.
Faine denied it.
“I’ve been on losing teams where the effort from my teammates made you sick to your stomach,” Faine said. “That’s the not case here. Not at all. The effort is there.”
Faine was also asked if maybe there is a problem with Bucs rookie quarterback Josh Freeman, who has seemed to regress rather than progress, with 11 picks in his last three games, including three today.
“No, he’s going to be a special player, I see it,” Faine said. “His future is going to be bright. He’s just going through growing pains. It’s just too bad it’s happening now. No, there’s nothing wrong with him. He’s just learning. He’s young.”
Faine also gave a lot of credit to the Jets who were all over the Bucs.
“They were doing a great job of shedding their blocks and getting into the backfield and disrupting plays.”

Well after watching a Tivo version of the game (it was less painful to just put a lot of the 2nd half on fast forward) I say this is Jeff Faine:

Just watch how Winslow was running his patterns vs. how he appeared in earlier games. Talk about going thru the motions!
Donald Penn would start a block but when Scott ran around him Penn just stopped – oh well.
The Bucs looked like they were in slow motion or someone put roofies in their Gatorade.
The defense actually didn’t play all that badly. Look you’ve got to take 10 points off the board due to Josh Freeman interceptions.
But the offense? the Bucs looked OFFENSIVE! I believe that this game was WORSE then when the Bucs played the NY giants.
Hey Radio I’ve got an idea for you – Fire Olson now ok? That way you can play OC, DC and HC. Take that and your “joystick” and stick it will ya?

We all need to start a petition to get radio fired, and what does faine care he got a 34 million dollar contract last year, he sucks too.

OK, let’s all jump on the Faine effort Bandwagon. Why did the Saints let him go? Sorry guys, but he’s no Stalwart Center. Overpaid definitely, nice tattoos & Dress shop, but injury prone and not a great blocker.
