Freeman Points In The Mirror Over Loss

November 15th, 2009

Josh Freeman continues to impress Joe with his demeanor. Stinging from the loss to the Phins, Freeman didn’t want to hear any consoling from members of the Buccaneers Radio Network.

“We don’t want to hear about moral vicitories,” Freeman said. “We want to win and we didn’t today.”

Instead of calling people out for their horrible play (Sabby Piscitelli), Freeman instead gave shout outs to those who put the Bucs in position to win the game.

“First off, it was a great play by Quincy Black to get us back,” Freeman said. “We got the ball back and we were able to do something. Cadillac and the offensive line really stepped it up then and we got points.”

Even when prodded, Freeman wouldn’t say anything about the how that vaunted Jim Bates defense layed down quicker than a $10 sales woman with a horny sailor.

“Hey, Miami has talented players as well,” Freeman said. “That’s what they get paid to do.”

Rather than call out his teammates, Freeman put some of the blame on himself, specifically his three first-half fumbles.

“It broke up our rhythm when we should have been putting points on the board.”

hey joe i dont see you writing “bust in waiting Josh Freeman” in every blog.. d-bag

  2. JK Says:

We had no chance today. The league wasn’t going to let it happen. Two teams going no where. Let the home team win. If this game was in Tampa we would have won. Such bogus penaltys. We can cry about it all week but it won’t matter. The networks will only show key plays. Not the butt fricking the league laid on us. Did you notice the empty seats? Through out the years I have grown tired of this. We will never get a fair shake.

Joe stopped that before training camp.

Nice of you to notice some four months later.

  4. Louie Says:

JC, Joe meant Hall of Fame bust.

  5. bouvard Says:

Yeah JC, once the Bucs yanked Joe’s season press credentials he figured it might help the site’s long-term future to stop making such silly proclamations.

Joe, as a Sailor, I’m offended, we haven’t seen $10 “sales women” since we left the Philippines years ago! That being said, only slugs would pay anyway, and that’s exactly what our defense played like on that final drive by Miami! What the hell happened with trash-talking Kyle Moore? He’s been activated for two weeks and still not a peep out of him!

  7. Joe Says:

Well Bouvard, interesting you are posting from home. You seem to be an (misinformed) lackey of some sort. Sell ads for the once colorful Bucs magazine perhaps?

The two incidents had nothing to do with each other. None. Of course, if you knew what you were writing about, you’d already know this wouldn’t you?

In fact, Joe quit calling Freeman that moniker before training camp.

Also interesting that you had to wait four months to chime in. Joe is impressed with your lack of timing, but nice try anyway.

JC: have you ever had a positive thought in your life?
JK: keep drinking the negative the NFL controls the games “koolaid”
Bouvard: your just a freakin’ moron

Freeman’s showing poise and leadership (one way or another) His in game foible’s notwithstanding, he’s got fight and determination to come back after a really poor start in this game and lead us to a near victory…Hey at least the few of us that think “positive” have some: (oh what’s that word?) HOPE
