Raheem’s Understatement Of The Day

September 14th, 2009

Sorry, Raheem.

When your No. 1 receiver, the $10 million dollar franchised guy, leaves the opening day game with a sore knee following preseason knee surgery, it’s a big deal.

Joe’s not allowing the spin for Antonio Bryant’s latest troubles. Raheem The Dream updated Bryant’s injury at his Monday media address.

“He’s just a knee deal. We’ll just have to keep monitoring that weekly. You know, uh, it’s going to be sore for a while. We just got to fight through it,” Raheem The Dream said.

Amateur trainer/doctor Joe says a “good” sore knee comes after games, and a “bad” sore knee causes one to leave a game.

I think it’s totally bogus. I mean Why did Bryant wait so long before having the surgery done? Maybe that was why he wanted a long-term deal because of the knee problem(s).

Compared to what Carnell Williams went thru with his knee surgeries I think that Bryant is just being a whiner. The knee is either healed and he’s ready to go or it’s still not right in that case don’t dress. Didn’t anyone learn anything after what happened to Brett Farve and his bicep last year?

Agreed Joe. AB killed my fantasy team with that stunt! Man up AB!
