If Only Ronde Barber Was 30

Age didn't seem to be an issue with Ronde Barber on this play in Bucs training camp.

Joe enjoys reading the Twitter missives of both Backwards Hat (good guy Rick Brown) of the Lakeland Ledger and the TBO gang of Woody Cummings, eye-RAH! Kaufman and Anwar Richardson.

When you can’t get to a Bucs practice, these four guys virtually bring you right on the field.

Brown caught what is the one-liner of camp in Joe’s eyes thus far from Raheem the Dream who, if he keeps this up, might need his own late night show. Per Brown, Raheem the Dream tossed a zinger Ronde Barber’s way.

…after CB Ronde Barber dropped an interception, Raheem Morris said he would have caught it when he was 30.

Though quarterback Byron Leftwich took limited snaps this morning as a reward of sorts from Raheem the Dream, Kaufman reinforces what Joe has seen with his own eyes at practice: that Leftwich is pulling away from the pack in the race for the starting gig.

Byron Leftwich is carrying himself with the look of a man who believes he is winning the QB battle. It’s early, but I think he’s right.

Really good insights for Bucs fans from these four guys. At least Joe trusts these musings. Joe isn’t so sure about other Twitterers.
