Sgt. Winslow No. 4

May 18th, 2009

If Bucs fans think throwing away a second-round pick on Sgt. Winslow was smart, then RealScouts is right up your alley.

The football service which monitors both the NFL and college football claims that Sgt. Winslow is one of the best tight ends in the NFL. In fact, they think Sgt. Winslow is the fourth-best tight end in the league.

4. Kellen Winslow, Buccaneers. After back-to-back 16-game, 80-catch seasons, Winslow was on the sideline again in ’08, missing six games. His life will get better in Tampa. His unique combination of size, speed and athletic ability makes him a threat anywhere on the field, and offensive coordinator Jeff Jagodzinski plans to take full advantage. Don’t be surprised to see Winslow lead the Bucs in receptions, yardage and touchdowns this year.

Joe finds great fault with this list. Joe would much rather have tight ends rated lower than Sgt. Winslow, such as Antonio Gates, Heath Miller, Chris Cooley, Todd Heap, Ben Watson and Greg Olsen.

Ben Watson? You’d rather have Ben Watson? Amidst all your negativity, Joe, you’re showing your dumb ars!
