The cheering begins September 13 against Dallas at home

The anticipation is over. The 2009 Bucs schedule is here.

Like most fans, Joe looks forward to getting the schedule and agonizing, analyzing and fantasizing.

Here it is below: Not a night game to be found, as Joe warned you earlier.

Joe is very pleased the Bucs will get the Cowboys and Giants at home in the September heat and humdity for 1 o’clock games. The Bucs have a much better shot to beat them earlier in the season.

Also, the schedule gods have kept the Bucs out of a true cold weather game, gifting them a trip to Buffalo in September, as well as Washington and Philly in October.

Joe hates to be negative, but these first seven games will pose a massive, massive challenge. And, of course, the “home” game trip to London stinks.

  3. Mr Lucky Says:

When the Bucs go to London will the NFL Gods allow the Glazers to sub some of the Man U players on the Bucs Special Teams?

It was nice to see that the Bucs have zero prime time games unlike the great cleveland Browns (2), Oakland Raiders (1) and that great opening game between NE and Buffalo – boy I’ll tune into THAT game.

Well at first glance, we can easily be 0-6 or 0-7 by bye week.
Honest to GOD i don’t see them winning more than 2-3 games IF WE ARE LUCKY…i’m predicting McClown will be benched by week 5 or after the bye, leftwicht will me just about the same as mcClown all in all this new regime is beyond incompetent, i’m no fan of gruden/allen either but this idiots have no clue maybe after 10 years i’ll root for another team because the bucs just don’t have direction never had one.
