Bucs defensive lineman Kevin Carter thinks middle linebacker Barrett Ruud is "the best" in the NFL.

Bucs middle linebacker Barrett Ruud is starting to become the next great Bucs linebacker. But in an article by eye-RAH! Kaufman of the Tampa Tribune, Bucs defensive lineman Kevin Carter already things Ruud is great. Either that or Carter is Ruud’s press agent.

“Barrett Ruud is quietly becoming the best middle linebacker in the game. For him not to receive any Pro Bowl support last year was crazy. Now, he’s even better. I take pride in working hard and arriving here early, but Barrett puts me to shame.”

Joe loves how Ruud is developing into such a stud. But Joe isn’t so sure Ruud is the best middle linebacker in the game. Still, it’s great to see him turn into a force.
