Eric LeGrand Retires

July 26th, 2012

Eric LeGrand and the Bucs made it official today; the former Rutgers defensive lineman paralyzed in a game while playing for Greg Schiano has retired.

LeGrand was on the Bucs’ 90 roster since Schiano and the Bucs signed him this year, in what became a story that warmed hearts worldwide.

No word yet on who will fill LeGrand’s shoes.

The Bucs have aced this from start to finish.

The Bucs haven’t done much right in recent years, but they NAILED this one. Proud to be a Bucs fan if for no other reason than this.

If this doesn’t get the NFL gods on our side I dont know what will.

I kinda wanted them to leave him on the roster for the entire season. I know every roster spot is valuable but that would have been cool. I am just glad that atleast made him apart of the team even if it was a short while.

I’m actually wondering if the opening of training camps around the league is what crashed twitter.
