Why don’t networks hire more offensive linemen as analysts? Simple: Ad buyers don’t know who they are. Ad buyers aren’t always sports fans and often aren’t football fans . But they generally know who the quarterbacks-turned-analysts are. Ad buyers often control the purse strings for network commercial buys. Ad buyers aren’t as likely to open their wallets for an offensive lineman (who plays the least-glamourous position) they’ve never heard of. [Awful Announcing]

The cyberattack on MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas has sent some of the most high-tech-wired, glitzy hotels in America back into the dark ages. If you are going to try to cheat the casino or do something untoward in one of MGM’s Vegas resorts, now’s the time to try it. [Wall Street Journal]

Emily Ratajkowski‘s favorite restraint is Little Don’s in Los Feliz for any bachelors out there. She just happens to live a short walk away, too. Good luck gentlemen.

Personally, I always pay attention when listening to the analysis of Baldinger and Joe Thomas. Also love Ronde’s breakdowns of the Bucs, but I wish his segments covered more plays and material.

Football fans want to hear intelligent discussion, and I don’t tune into an analyst just because of name recognition. But ad buyers, do your thing! LOL

I was at The Met in NYC on Monday and they have an entire exhibit on Greek and Roman history. It was amazing. It’s the finest museum I have ever visited.

    @ D-Rome
The Met is awesome. I highly recommend the Museum of Natural History. You won’t be disappointed. Ellis Island museum is also cool, much more interesting than you could expect, plus the ferry ride there is really cool.

Gotta remember, they’re not targeting football fans. They’re targeting casual fans or folks that aren’t even football fans. That’s why they go after “names.”

    BootyLover,

I went to both museums last weekend. The only issue I have with the Museum of Natural History is that I had a tough time telling what are authentic artifacts vs. what is a reproduction. Just about everything was authentic at The Met.

    @ Joe,

    Copy that. Got it. 🙂

NY got Rodgers. We got the Goat and his “go to guy”. And many thought AR would repeat what Tom did here? Only if the Jet’s D carried the team.
