Cali folks are going to destroy Texas…what’s left of it anyway.

I was just thinking yesterday that i almost never use the tv any more. It’s all internet except sports and news. If it weren’t for the Bucs i could just cut the cord. I could retire at 55 if I just rooted for a local team. 😂

  3. Espo Says:

Clod you can still watch the games with Hulu. We’ve saved literally hundreds.

  4. ClodHopper Says:

Seriously? How is that? Live too? I haven’t even heard of that. Do they have an added package to buy?

  5. Razor Ramone Says:

Cut it. I stream everything, much cheaper and never miss a Bucs game or a Lightning game! I love it.

  6. Razor Ramone Says:

Download app on your smart tv. I use youtube tv, but there are several. All you need from cable company is Internet connection.

I looked into Hulu. They’re wording can be taken different ways. Simply asked: In Iowa I’ll be able to watch the Bud games just like Sunday Ticket?

  8. HowToSpellRhonde Says:

Joe has a strange obsession with California and its taxes. Too bad he’s misinformed. You falsely claimed the other day on Ira’s podcast the income tax in California was “19%”, which is false.

  9. HowToSpellRhonde Says:

@ Clod and Hulu offer basic cable, but no NFL Network on either service. There’s no NFL ticket option either.

  10. Joe Says:

In Iowa I’ll be able to watch the Bud games just like Sunday Ticket?

No. For now. NFL Sunday Ticket has exclusivity (meaning has full broadcasting rights) to out of market NFL games *unless* a local broadcaster is piping in a Bucs game. And DirecTV has exclusive rights to NFL Sunday Ticket.

The contract the NFL has with NFL Sunday Ticket expires this year. Could stay with DirecTV. Could go to Amazon, could be a new service hosted by … who knows?

  11. ClodHopper Says:

That’s what I was thinking. Hulu’s wording made me think that it would be local market but they weren’t exactly clear.

  12. ClodHopper Says:

Hopefully Amazon gets it. I’m no fan Bezos and his politics but I gotta hand it to him: He’s made the best damn website in existence.

  13. ClodHopper Says:

    *2nd best. 😀

  14. Joe Says:

Bezos certainly has a better site than Joe. He makes significantly more cash than Joe. 🙂

  15. ClodHopper Says:

Haha. I know. Just felt rude saying that. Like telling my wife the distraction of the day is hotter than her. It’s true but I wouldn’t dare say it to her. 😂
