Ira is 4 dash 11??? Sounds like the record of the Bucs or Jets in a typical season…. Anyhow this has me worried because I chose Washington in the suicide pool I am in and my 2nd option is the Chargers. Maybe the Skins win by 3…. (used Dallas NE Baltimore Philly and KC)…. Should I stick with skins or chargers or perhaps go with Carolina…. Thanks for jinxing me Ira…..

I met Jay Gruden years ago. Good person and great offensive mind. I’m glad he got out from under Snyder. We complain about the Glazer boys, but they are saints compared to Snyder.

  5. DBS Says:

    Panthers 31-Bucs 24

Nope. Joe gave up gambling on the NFL last year. Naturally been on a roll this year.

Which reminds Joe. He has to place his college bets still.

Gave up eh. You remind me of the late GREAT Chris Thomas who always wailed on Monday…N F L stands for No Freaking Logic !

EXACTLY what Joe was thinking of when he threw in the towel. That’s exactly what Chris Thomas did. Gave up gambling on NFL because it was a waste of time and cash.

Tick you will rue the day you picked against the Bucs.

    Give me Tampa Bay +2

    Give me Denver -2

    Give me Atlanta -2.5

    1-2 last week
First week picking for me do 1-2 season.

However Joe, Chris Thomas must have been about 67% on picking college ball. That guy knew his ****!

    Chris was very good.

Last year Joe had a run where he had one or two college games wrong in October. Shut it down at Halloween. There’s a saying Joe tries to live by when it comes to football gambling: “Quit while you are ahead.” Or as a stat geek would say, “Get out before you regress to the mean.” 🙂

Let’s just say last year Oklahoma, Alabama, Clemson and West Virginia were very good to Joe. 🙂

Last year Big XII teams were fun to bet on because most of the league had really good offenses. If you researched right, you could bank on a team covering and pushing the score past the over (thank you Lincoln Riley, Mike Gundy and Dana Holgorsen).
