Morning Cup Of Joe

August 16th, 2019

Welcome to your Morning Cup of Joe, an eye-opener to help Joe’s readers ease into their busy workday with a few football links, wacky news and a pleasant distraction.

Distraction of the Day

The XFL is going to raid colleges of underclassmen. This is one way to take out Alabama. [Twitter]

NFLPA distributes “work stoppage guide” for the coming labor battle. Will it include advice on how not to rent out camels for your birthday party? [Yahoo! Sports]

When an NFL executive gets drunk. Video style! [PFT]

Why Cowboys should not pay Ezekiel Elliott. [CBS Sports]

Is this true? Is Alabama going to host a “Hard Knocks” series for HBO? If so that is really a kick in the nuts to the pansies/paranoid freaks/apologists for defeat who blame cameras on losing. There may be no bigger control freak than Nick Saban. What say you, you peddlers of “distractions?” [Awful Announcing]

XFL Tampa will be housed in… Plant City. XFL has even agreed to renovate the old Cincinnati Reds spring training stadium there. Wish they would have done this with Al Lang Stadium. It’s criminal how that waterfront stadium has been desecrated. [Plant City Observer]

Oh no, Pasco! Such a brave soul. Joe sure wouldn’t be inclined to lift something from a store with the name “Armed” in its name. [WFLA]

Pinellas Park man walks into store, selects bottle of wine, walks into bathroom and chugs it, then tries to leave. Pinellas Park is sort of a Pasco County oasis centered in Pinellas County so naturally there is a Walmart involved. Mugshot goodness included. [WFLA]

Italian millionaire in trouble for playing “Butt Bongo Fiesta” with several babes on his yacht. Video style! [Daily Mail]

At traffic stop, Florida woman pulls gator out of her pants. [WTVT]

Oh well. Whenever I got the hankering to get into a political fight, there’s always Twitter. Twitter never lets you down when you want to fight. Even if you want to talk about how cute puppies are, youll find a fight.

I am also likely a culprit of the posts coming down, and also apologize if so.

    @ Clod & unbelievable

There was wacko nut job black helicopter nonsense that hit the post later, I read them and next minute everything was gone.

My guess is complaints from advertisers or contributors to JBF complained about the content.
