It Has Come To This

October 24th, 2013

Joe always finds it a bit interesting that Bucs fans clamor for attention from national media types. But often when the Bucs get said attention, fans think it’s not good enough.

This season, the Bucs may have set a record for most attention for a winless team. And it’s those defeats, week after week, which are driving the coverage. Enter the notorious Keith Olbermann, who now has Bucs commander Greg Schiano on his radar. Joe posts this without comment, other than readers may want to fast-forward to the 2:05 mark of this BSPN video because Joe assumes few give a damn about Colombian kickball uniforms.

I don’t give a damn about anything that liberal socialist has to say!

  2. Mr. Patrick Says:

It’s really horrible when you have to totally agree with someone that you can’t stand

  3. Jacko101 Says:

Lol @ Patrick. He is so right

  4. Name Required Says:

    Damn, Keith… I mean sure, but damn…

  5. Otto Says:

Olbermann is about as relevant as Shaun King.

  6. ShutTheBucUp Says:

Wow, this guy still has a career? Weird.

  7. Oahubuc Says:

I’m just glad he went back to sports. I stumbled upon him on the Maoist Socialist Nattering Broadcast Channel from time to time when he had a show. He’s much better at this.

  8. Greg Schiano SUCKS Says:

You’ve hit rock bottom when Keith Olbermann zings you. Ouch.

  9. Mark G Says:

0% chance I would ever watch a clip from this assbag

  11. Adam L. Says:

He really needs a laugh track.

  12. Adam L. Says:

    This is it.

With the flood of “We Hate Schiano” stories on the wires today with the national media staring at Tampa Bay, I’m going to go on record right now as saying that a Bucs loss means Schiano is fired by noon tomorrow.

There isn’t this much venom flooding the media for nothing. Something REALLY stinks in the state of Denmark.

  13. Hawaiian Buc Says:

For all those who believe keeping Schiano until the end of the season is a good idea, this is a reason why we shouldn’t. I’m not sure what being a liberal has to do with his opinion of Greg Schiano, but his opinion is shared by liberals and conservatives alike. We are a laughing stock, Schiano is a laughing stock, and he needs to be gone, like 3 weeks ago. Get rid of him so we can begin the process of healing from this misery we have been forced to endure under his reign.

  14. Curmudgeon Says:

Liberal socialists hooray! Teabagger morons BOOOOO!

  15. Sambizle Says:

    Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  16. DWC2 Says:

You have to give the man credit, he does his weekly radio show and takes live bullets from the fans, stands up in his press conferences and takes live bullets from the media, The whole sports nation hates him and wants him fired but, he has the balls to stand up and keep fighting for what he thinks is right. Like him or not, none of us could do our job under these conditions…

  17. Curmudgeon Says:

So, Schiano can deal with lots of negativity in the media. Good for him, because his players don’t trust him, the don’t like playing for him, and they’re going to continue to lose. So he’s gonna need those media skills.

  18. Greg Schiano SUCKS Says:

I don’t want him fired midseason. Why screw up our draft spot for 3 meaningless wins?

  19. ShutTheBucUp Says:

Hard to believe this time last year we were about to spank Minnesota in their house on national TV during Dougie’s coming out party. My how times have changed 🙁

  20. Hawaiian Buc Says:

He does those interviews because he’s required to. He gets no credit for being stubborn and refusing to adjust anything the entire time he’s been here. He hasn’t grown as a coach at all.

  21. Sambizle Says:

    To some of you posters,

Politics that’s what you bring up? On this small of a site, do you have a life? Do you share a brain with a very large group of people?

    @JoeBuc,

Love your articles but some of your posters, who do they think they are? A lot of know-it-alls that seem closer to the halfwit category.

  22. McNabb2Barber Says:

Schiano may suck, but F Keith Olbermann

  23. Jordon Says:

It’s pretty clear that change is coming to the Bucs…the question is do you do it mid-season or ride it through. But now I’m going to root for Schiano to stay, if for no other reason than Olbermann is a complete ****wad! Go get em’ coach! Go Bucs!

I concur with you both! GO BUCS…

  25. BuccaneerBonzai Says:

You make a good point, Joe. A year ago I may have said any publicity was good publicity. If I did, I take it back now!

“I’m going to go on record right now as saying that a Bucs loss means Schiano is fired by noon tomorrow.”

Didn’t you say the same thing LAST WEEK? And the week before?
Keep at it…you’ll get it right sooner or later 😉
