I might have missed this but who diagnosed Doug with having a traumatic brain injury? it seemed to me like he had a mild concussion.

  2. Joe Says:

Actually Andrew1, there really is no such thing as a “mild concussion.” Fans can follow the link above and learn a lot more about traumatic brain injuries (aka, concussions) in general. Any kind of concussion should be taken seriously, not only for NFL players. This is a subject Joe is well versed in.

  3. Couch Fan Says:

Gorrer is still hurt huh? Not sure how he’s gonna make the team from the Bench.

  4. Andrew 1 Says:

I hear you Joe, but who diagnosed him with having a traumatic brain injury? was it a team doctor? because from what Ive read he passed his concussion test on the sidelines during the game. I must have missed something.

  5. Buc'n Junkie Says:

Bruising the brain is pretty traumatic when you actually picture it in your mind. Where the skull is so violently impacted that it causes the brain even though suspended in fluid to slam against the inside of the skull. Sounds dangerous.

Looks like Nicks may be done, or may never regain the greatness he once had.
A Toe Injury is very hard to heal sometimes, especially when you weigh 350 lbs!
What a darn shame, and another bad break for us.
So much for a “dream team” Offensive line!
