I just hope It does not become Derrelle Revis and the bucs. it needs to be the bucs and Derrelle Revis. thats the only thing I worry about. no one on the bucs needs to be playing second fiddle to Revis because that alone could harbor some resentment. he needs to integrate himself into part of the team instead of being the focal point of it.

Not sure anyone will resent harboring ill will if someone suggests Darrelle Revis is Myron Lewis’ superior.

  3. Andrew 1 Says:

    @ Joe

I see what your saying, anybody would be a blessing in M. Lewis’ place. Im just looking at this at a TEAM perspective. my feelings are that if it becomes Revis and… oh yeah, the bucs it could be a problem. I could be way off, but it is something to consider.

I think the team looks at it like this: They are fighting in a war and about to run out of ammunition. Along comes iron man to join the team, how do you think the rest of the team will feel? Personally it would fill me with excitement and hope and push me to work harder knowing we now have a weapon on defense.

    Andrew 1,

Nope, Revis is top dog. He is paid to be top dog, and he is expected to play elite.

    Damn good point, Joe.

Myron Lewis should have to call Revis “dad”, and Ronde “Gramps”.

Revis is “the” CB to have.

I hope he comes back 100% , and so does his contract.

Dominick was happy to walk the Jets off the plank, great effing deal.

This could be a “Simeon Rice” kind of deal. Super Bowl Deal, if Freeman can break franchise records again, perform consistently, and take care of the damn ball.
