Bucs Fan Behaving Badly In Minnesota

October 31st, 2012

A drunken (?) Bucs fan was dragged out of the Metrodome last week during the Bucs beat down of the Vikings. Bucs fan got mouthy with Vikings fans and it didn’t go over too well with the locals, nor the cops. Watch how one cop puts the Bucs fan in a nasty headlock and slams him to the concrete stairs. Let this be a lesson on how not to act during road games. Lucky this dude wasn’t in The Black Hole. Joe would have already read his obituary.

    We found where 2.2 went.

  3. Hawaiian Buc Says:

    @HAND,
Are you sure that wasn’t Miguel?

  4. bUcncRazy Says:

    That was BS

  5. Have A Nice Day Says:

@Hawaiian Buc – Miguel wouldn’t have been wearing a Bucs Jersey.

  6. Miguel El Magnifico Says:

Wow, evening games are the worst. People take the day off and start tailgating (drinking) at about noon.

At CITS I used to notice a big difference in hostility between 1:00 and 4:00 games.

When you’re talking 8:00 PM, forget about it.

A friend of mine in LA who was a 49er fan used to go see them play the LA Raiders at home. He said you couldn’t wear red and gold because the Raider Gangs would rip your clothes off and set them on fire during the approach to the stadium. Hundreds of them would cheer your misfortune and stupidity.

  7. Nick Says:

I wish our security would do that to some of the visiting a-holes in our stadium

  8. 1Buccaneerplace Says:

He was certainly an idiot, but it looks to me that he got choked and cuffed for waving his hat. Not to defend him, but no one knows what was being shouted at him, and security seemed overly aggressive as he was leaving. I’ll be at the game in Oakland, and I will be keeping my mouth shut. Might even have to wear black to make sure I make it out in one piece.

  9. Sneedy16 Says:

Wow! That guy was a out of control. I’ve been to the away game in Dallas and you have to know your place in someone else’s stadium. Security will always kick out the away team person given the fact that you are outnumbers by a ratio of 1000:1 (unless you are at the Raymond James stadium when we are playing the Steelers or Packers where Bucs fans are outnumber.)

  10. Miguel El Magnifico Says:

    @Hawaiian

It would be closer for me to go to the Raider’s game but I don’t think I could get in with my creamsicle died hair, Booker Reese jersey and the Little General’s face tatooed on my neck.

  11. Ian's Gay Lisp Says:

At least he didn’t call a horse a “tuff guy”….then assault it

  12. OAR Says:

If your future self hasn’t come back in time to tell you not to do it then it isn’t a bad decision…

  13. Hawaiian Buc Says:

I hate to say it, but he got what he deserved. I’ve been around people like that who are cheering for the other team, and you just hope they get roughed up.

On a side note, I’ve actually been to more road games than home games for the Bucs, and I’ve never had a problem, mainly because I’m intelligent to know better than to mouth off in someone else’s home. I’ve been to SF twice and never had a problem, even though they have a bad reputation. I’m still seriously considering going to the Oakland game, but I have to admit, that one’s got me a little nervous. But from my experience, as long as you keep your mouth shut at the appropriate time, you will be fine. And I don’t touch any alcohol on road games either.

  14. Colin Says:

I went to a raiders game and a lions fan ran his mouth and got KO’d lol

  15. Hawaiian Buc Says:

    @HAND,

Good point, forgot about that. He would probably be wearing a Chip Kelly for President T-shirt though.

  16. lightningbuc Says:

That Viqueen skank thought she was pretty tough! Don’t necessarily condone what he did, but I highly doubt all those “fans” were all that polite to him up to that point in the game. He had scoreboard and let ’em know!

  17. Bobby Says:

    @Hawaiian

“It would be closer for me to go to the Raider’s game but I don’t think I could get in with my creamsicle died hair, Booker Reese jersey and the Little General’s face tatooed on my neck.”

I can’t help it…I actually had to laugh at that.

  18. Ben Says:

Idiots like that are at the games every week. Typically they sit down long before it ever comes to that, but if you aren’t facing your team, you aren’t cheering for them.

  19. Adam Says:

That is just unconscionable. How could he be allowed to do that!?

I am fairly certain that guy did not have the express written consent of the NFL and NFL Network be recording that game.

  20. Morgan Says:

@ Nick – it happens every week – our security at RJS are the best. Every home game I usually witness them carrying off some imbecile

  21. @D_R_Hamilton Says:

So that Vikings fan gets away with battery on a LEO @ 4:57?

  22. pewterpirate99 Says:

This guy is a complete douch bag! He deserves to get his ass kicked inside out! It’s too bad he didn’t get tasered and got lit up like a christmas tree.

  23. Alaska Buc Says:

My wife and I live in Alaska (grew up in Largo/Clearwater) and went to this game. We try to go to one Bucs game every year and this one seemed like the best choice for us this year. We didn’t see this incident as we were around the 50 yd line, 3 rows up on the Bucs side. Although I wasn’t sure at first but of all the games we’ve gone to from up here, I have to say that the Vikings fans were the most cordial group of folks we have ever encountered. We even wore our Bucs gear in a Viking bar outside of the stadium for a few hours before the game and never got heckled once. Usually there’s at least a boo or two. With that said, you have to know where you stand in enemy territory and this guy got what he deserved. He was an embarrassment to the uniform.

  24. Patrick Says:

The guy was a dick, but all those Vikings fans seemed like dickheads as well too.

  25. Andy Says:

I was at this game and sat about 4-5 sections to the right of this & I could hear the a-hole chant from my seat. Security escorted out what appeared to be a Vikes fan behind this moron but they (Vikes fan) were much more civil as a whole. I’m sure things were being yelled at him but no Vikes fan bothered me at any point although I was smarter (and probably WAY more sober) and kept quiet.

  26. Miguel El Magnifico Says:

At the Oakland Raider’s games, they pat you down for a gun, if you don’t have one, they loan you one.

That guy, #5, was cruising for a bruising.

  27. Pete 422 Says:

@1Buccaneerplace you are a wise man. Enjoy the game, don’t draw attention to yourself.

  28. Barry Klassen Says:

This is become an epidemic. I sensed it years ago and started to approach opposing fans to thank them for coming and welcoming them to Tampa. I warned them they be met with violence, but to walk away and don’t let it ruin their day.

It is hard to do. I was “escorted” out of Phillly on the day of Warren Sapps first game by one of our linemans brothers (forget who it was, but I was only wearing orange…NOT acting like this guy!)

Long story short, this could absolutely KILL the NFL as we know it. A violent game with diehard fans and alchahol vendors that will not say not to the allmighty $!

  29. Pete 422 Says:

That was hilarious. That guy was a dickhead & I’m sure Josh Freeman would be thrilled he was wearing a #5 Freeman jersey. He would have been fine if he didn’t start in with the Vikings fans.

  30. Colorado Buc Says:

Wasn’t my proudest moment, but they chick threw a beer at me and then I had to let them know what the score was! Not a dickhead normally my bad yall

  31. Buc_The_World Says:

The guy was behaving badly but so was all the viqueen fans around him. He paid good money just like they did, he had a right to voice his excitement. Was it smart, no. When he sat down they kept running up on him mouthing off and some of them should have been removed as well. Seemed like a case of we are losing so we will make ourselves feel better by roughing up and kicking out a Buc Fan.

  32. jLM Says:

That’s why I always but the expensive seats. Less morons to deal with.

  33. jLM Says:

    Buy

  34. Architek79 Says:

    Entertaining

  35. Paul Says:

I always see other team’s fans at our games yelling and rubbing in scores and such. Guess that isn’t allowed in other stadiums.

  36. John McIntyre Says:

Don’t think that this guy wasn’t provoked all game by the Vikes fans. I’ve been to several Bucs games in Minneapolis, and the Vikings fans are always complete a-holes. I have been assaulted in the bathroom at one game, and been threatened with violence and/or death at every other game, and I do not run my mouth or show up their fans at all. They are total idiots.

  37. Justin Says:

    I’m proud of this guy.

  38. Bill Says:

Looked to me that he got sick of the talk!crap being thrown at him and people getting in his face!Looks like a good law suit to me and, dude, if you read Joebucsfan, im saving the video for yeah bra!

I’ve never been to a pro game but been to a couple college and plenty of high school games and I agree with you. The blame falls on everyone that approach the guy and maybe all those Vikings fan was heckling him throughout the whole game. Is it illegal to cheer for your time at an away game? NO. What this shows is adults acting like sore loser (Vikings’ fans). I would say a 100% of the time if the Vikings was winning big. They would have been harassing the only Bucs jersey wearing fan. It definitely was wrong to push that guy but at the same time it’s even more wrong to get in someone face like that. It’s technically a crime to threaten someone like getting in the face like a fight about to happen. Who know what was said before the push. Personally this seem like a witch hunt by Vikings fans. I guess in order for this not to happen is to seat people like the college stadium and have a section only for away fans only. Or stop selling alcohol at the game. Though society is very hypocritical about player getting DUI yet many regualr folks do the same thing and even lose jobs, their life, and families over it. And often viewed as a fun person to be around. It’s sad that people take these game that’s serious.

  40. BigMacAttack Says:

Sell weed instead of beer and chill. No one was hurt. Not condoning his behavior but it happens. It is always best to be respectful as a visitor. I really hate Saints fans. Not very classy at all.

  41. @eric Says:

I wonder whatever happened to Pittman,

  42. Jwayne Says:

If this guy was treated like this for what he did, some of the saints fans (sitting directly behind me) at the last home game should of been stoned! This guy looks like a saint( no pun intended) compared to some of those idiots! I agree you should be alot more respectful at away games, but those Vikings fans were just as much at fault. And that security gaurd was a bit excessive i would say!

  43. Rican Says:

Perfect example of some lowley security guard abusing what little power he does have. Probably enough evidence there for a suit

  44. BucfanBF Says:

When I lived up in Jersey, I would wear my then steeler Colors to the old vet. When I moved down here to tampa, I went to the vet in Philly when we closed them (Eagles) and the vet down wearing my bucs Colors and had no problems. You generally won’t have problems if you don’t rub great plays by your team in there faces and/or be generally an ass.

  45. mike Says:

lawsuit? they were wrong, go bucs

  46. Jeff N Says:

The bucs fan was a little bad going after the family but it l.ooked like the whole sec was on him we don’t know who was messing with him especially in that part of the dome. The cop was a DICK and out of control. Bucs fan starting walking with him right away and raised his hand as a couple hundred people taunt him. Cops put up with alot but this one was an ass!
