Jackson, Williams And Parker Are “Dominating”

June 14th, 2012

Joe’s pal Dave Wirth over at WTSP-TV, Ch. 10 got an exclusive sit-down with Josh Freeman at his football camp last weekend. Interestingly, without being asked for names, Freeman volunteered that Vincent Jackson, Mike Williams and Preston Parker have been “dominiating, dominating, OTAs.”

There’s more good stuff in here, some of which Joe will touch on soon.

When Parker came out of college, his best 40 time at the combine was 4.67 . I hope he masters the art of route running.

  2. Have A Nice Day Says:

    Freeman is so cute!

  3. Thomas2.2 Says:

Is Arrelious Benn just totally written off at this point?

If VJ, Mike Will, Parker, Tiquan Underwood (who everyone is raving about), and Dez Briscoe are the obvious top 5 – I guess that leaves Benn and Stroughter looking for work.

    Great work rock star!

i think some of the lower on the totem pole names are being heralded as motivation for those above them to not coast. (also hoping to trade before the cuts, or do a professional courtesy to a future former player and get some other team to over pay a guy you cut)

there are many reasons that aren’t 1 dimensional for you to be hearing about some of these guys lower on the totem pole, lets not jump to conclusions

    0.0,

Who is ths “Arrelious”, you speak of?

  6. Hawaiian Buc Says:

Only a fool like Thomas can take Freeman saying a few names randomly as a shot to Arrelious. So in your world, because he didn’t say Arrelious is dominating, he’s a terrible WR? Not sure if you knew this, but they haven’t even put pads on yet. Since you have been a player and a coach (allegedly), don’t you know there is a difference once the pads go on? Sometimes its better to just not say anything if you don’t have anything intelligent to say.

  7. Thomas2.2 Says:

Benn has the pads on for parts of 2 seasons and I still don’t remember him playing?

  8. Meh Says:

Benn has showed some good flashes, but he has not been able to put it all together yet. He has had some knee injury problems too. I think it is still too soon to write him off, but he definitely needs to start playing to his potential soon or he’s going to enter bust territory.
