He sure is the opposite of Winslow.

    GOOD!

  4. The Dutcher Journal (Pete Dutcher) Says:

Yay, we got a Colt cast-off!

I understand there could be reasons for cutting Winslow. But I refuse to “pretend” this was a great signing.

  6. BrianW Says:

It’s obviously not a “great” signing, but he might be able to fill Winslow’s role for a year. Their knees are the same age too! So look for more catching dump offs and falling down in front of the first down markers from another un-athletic TE. Best we could do though, so why not?

Why do I have a funny feeling, there’s a Seattle blog with a poster saying sarcastically: “Yay, we got a Buc cast-off”

  8. IndianaBuc Says:

Although He’s not the blocking TE we all would like to have he will get us that first down and not try to make the highlight of the night by attepting to hurddle a LB and fumble.

  9. TrueBlue Says:

Who do you want Stocker and the other young TE’s on this team to emulate – Winslow or Clark. This guy comes to do his job. Maybe he’s only here a year, but if he can teach the young ones how to be a professional, he’s worth it. I think he surprises the nay sayers this year – if he stays healthy.

  10. Eric Says:

Wait a minute where’s Payton Manning?

    Whoops.

    .

I doubt that. At least Winslow produced yards. Clark produced little or nothing.

TrueBlue, I don’t want our young guns learning from Winslow OR Clark to be honest. Winslow will produce this year from another team. Clark? Well, he hasn’t produced since the year Freeman was drafted.

  12. ALSTOTTSMART! Says:

Yay, we got rid of a Browns cast-off!

  13. ben Says:

i seen some of them and they couldnt believe they got them for a 7th rounder. i like the move though and i like both players, nobody knows how either will do. its all about chemistry thats why lot of these top free agents get big contracts and dont do much. i think we got a few guys that are hungry and are team players

  14. tommy Says:

    pete is not real smart!!!

  15. Schmuckaneer Says:

The Dutcher really? Clark never produced???? Tell me when Winslow ever had a 1000+ yard season? Clark has produced that. Clark also has more yards and exactly double the TD’s (46-23) as K2 even though he has less touches. And the biggest plus is he isn’t a self proclaimed, blowhard “soldier”. He comes to work plays hard and PRODUCES more than K2.

  16. Schmuckaneer Says:

Ok I looked K2 had a 1000+ yd season in 07…Clark had one in 09.

So, You dont want the young TEs to learn from a pro-bowl/superbowl winning veteran that practices and Clark never produced??? You obviously…….oh forget it.
