Stunning Move By The Buccaneers

May 2nd, 2012

In simply one of the coolest moves Joe’s seen by a team in a long time, the Bucs signed former Rutgers defensive tackle Eric LeGrand today.

He was paralyzed after an on-field injury during the 2010 season.

“Leading up to the draft, I couldn’t help but think that this should’ve been Eric’s draft class,” said Coach Schiano. “This small gesture is the least we could do to recognize his character, spirit, and perseverance. The way Eric lives his life epitomizes what we are looking for in Buccaneer Men.”

Not much for Joe to say about this one and how Schiano chose to honor one of his own.

This guy really is the way he appears and is not a Facade (spelled right ??) like our previous 2 coaches of “I love you man” Gruden and “Were gonna be violent” Raheem
