  2. Bucbeliever Says:

Definitely a chance for Morris to show he’s a legit coach. You do that by doing something Belicheat couldn’t: make get Haynesworth to run his motor (and not videotape opposing teams)

And I love the love from the media surrounding Haynesworth. If this was in Dallas, there’d be videos and analysis and anticipation to see hi play. In Tampa, who cares?

All in all we need just one thing this week…a Win!

    GO BUCS!

  3. Meh Says:

When this blows up in Dom’s face he’d better get fired. I’ve been defending him other than his stupid offseason FA strategy, but this is just too much. I’ve lost all faith in the coaches, the front office, and the ownership.

  4. blackmagic00 Says:

@Meh really? Defending Dom to who? And to the rest of the fair weather fans; get over it. It’s football and no matter how good we are not everyone will be happy. I kinda like this signing. Gives people a reason to see what Tampas doing and Albert just might do something here. Young team might give him a reason to feel like a leader. Also he’s a 3tech. He sucked in Washington because of the 3 man front. Let’s see what he does in a Tampa 2 in Tampa. Go Bucs!

  5. Meh Says:

He’s a lazy dirt bag and a team cancer. And ya, we finally have our vet leadership. Buhahahahahahahahaha!

  6. OB Says:

Joe, He has been all of these and a pro bowler. If we didn’t get the pro bowler, he will be cut so soon he won’t get his rent deposit back. I am sure his contract is structured so we don’t pay him also. The worst that can happen is he is here a week or two and he shows the entire team what happens when you stop playing for the team and do your own thing. They need this now because of how some of the players are playing.

Best that happens is that we have a pro bowler and the team see what happens when you apply yourself and get your head out of your behind.

Belichek can be an ahole to his players, and so can Shanahan.
I think maybe Raheem and Haynesworth will make a good team.
The downside was very low, and the upside considerable.
I applaud Mark for making this move, and Adam Schein can go Schlep his stupid videos.

shanahan and belichic couldn;t get this bum to play… they are legit heads coaches, what makes you think morris can do anything with him?

  9. Apple Roof Cleaning Says:

Jeff Fisher got him to play, by being his friend.
Albert is very much an Alpha Male, all 6 ft 6 and 350 lbs of him.
I think Shanahan and Belicheat tried to “out Alpha” Albert.

I think once Albert sees he is needed and WANTED here in Tampa, he will respond.
And I think the whole defensive team will rally around the ex All Pro.
Just as a new puppy can bring new life into an old Dog, I think our young players will bring new life to Albert. Albert will feel needed and wanted again, and start playing like the Haynesworth of old.

Make no mistake, he is still a powerful Man. Watch the video on YouTube where he brings Reggie Bush down with one arm!
