Talib In Court Tomorrow

June 1st, 2011

Judge Don Adams

Barring a last-minute change, Aqib Talib is scheduled to appear in Dallas County district court tomorrow at 9 a.m before judge Don Adams.

Obviously, this is not a trial date, but stuff’s going to get scheduled. And when you’ve got the prosecutor and Talib’s legal team together, there’s always a chance a deal could be struck, or at least the beginnings of one.

Later today, Joe will reveal some of the very flimsy evidence against Talib in his felony assault with a deadly weapon case and give readers a chance to give their take after reading a lot of the information in play.

    i think only his lawyer has to be there if http://www.tampabay.com/blogs/bucs/content/talib-case-back-court-thursday is correct

    looking forward very much to hear more about the evidence Joe, love hearing your perspectives!

    Yeah, I think so too.

    I am looking forward to this laying out of the evidence Joe is going to prevent though.

    Earlier this week (or maybe last week) Talibs mother claimed he shot the gun, but she didn’t actually “see” him do it, she just heard a shot.

    Throw mama from the train before she shoots.

    I was told that shooting a gun in Texas is not the big deal it is here in Tampa ?
    Houston is well known for people shooting at each other in traffic. You don’t want to give someone in Houston the finger, or lay on your horn in traffic like some people do in Tampa.

    It looks like a pretty weak case against Talib, maybe they make a deal, and we keep our Star ? Hopefully, maybe this will cause Talib to take a good hard look at himself, and stop doing stupid Chit ?

    @Apple Roof Cleaning
    The laws (in 1976 when I lived there) were that if anyone came uninvited on your property, you could shoot them in Texas. The reasoning was that if they came on your property uninvited, they were likely a threat.

    I don’t know if that has changed since though. And yes…I’m an old man, lol.

    btw, apple…nice company website.
