James Lee Likely In For Big Test

December 3rd, 2010

The Bucs are banged up, especially on the offensive line. In particular the right side of the line. Right guard Davin Joseph is out for the year and at right tackle James Lee is expected to be playing Sunday.

So far Lee has played up to the task. Admirably in fact. But this week will be a challenge. To try to flush out what the Falcons perceive as a weakness, eye-RAH! Kaufman of the Tampa Tribune believes Dixie Chicks coach Mike Smith will try some unique moves, so Kaufman Twittered on the TBO Bucs Twitter feed.

Look for the Falcons to line up DE John Abraham on the left side for much of Sunday’s game to test inexperienced Bucs RT James Lee.

This is actually a very smart move by Smith. Thus far Lee has done little to make Joe forget about Jeremy Trueblood. If Lee can handle himself against Abraham Sunday, Joe suspects Lee may just cement himself with a starting position.

Lee needs to go out there and take care of business, as it is if he doesn’t his business will be kaput! Wish i could go to the game I want a McKay hat!!! I am a bucket hat guy…

Good for James Lee. Should be fun watching the game Sunday. Reading that these guys are coming in and working on there off day to get better tells you they know how lucky they are to have a job. And they all want to keep it. Firing Sabby sent a clear message. Rah has done an incredible job to keeping the team focused and motivated while handing out punishment for failure. We’re going to be good for years to come.

Not to infer that Lee has not been playing well i think he ha played much better than Trueblood. But Lee is facing a Big challenge this week if they put Abraham on his side all game. We could use that against them and run Penn’s direction…

Damn that’s gonna be tough test for Lee. But I’m gonna be optimistic and say that he’ll be able to hold his ground for most of the game. For Josh’s sake I hope that he does.

Abraham needs to test Lee. Lord knows he isn’t getting through Donald “State” Penn!!!!!

    Don’t you mean Jeremy Dunderhead?

How many penalties has the Bucs O-line had the past few weeks?

Lee must be doing something right because Trueblood can’t get back on the field.I know Trueblood was injured but Lee is playing so well that Raheem is going with the hot hand.Has anyone else noticed that the running game has improved since Trueblood went down?

  8. Apple Roof Cleaning Says:

I have faith in Lee, just tell him this game is the Muck Bowl !
