TBO.com: Cowher Report False

Joe’s friend Woody Cummings, Bucs beat writer for TBO.com and The Tampa Tribune, says a source close to the Glazers claims the Bucs owners did not contact Bill Cowher about coaching the team in 2010.
This morning, NFL.com insider Jason LaConfora reported that contact by Team Glazer indeed happened, although LaCanfora did not offer a timetable of when the Glazers reached out to Cowher.
“That’s not true,” a source with knowledge of the Glazer family’s intentions told the Tampa Tribune. “That’s just people speculating.”
According to a story by NFL.com reporter Jason La Canfora, Bucs officials reached out to Cowher to gauge his interest in possibly coaching the team in 2010. The story cited “a source with knowledge of the situation.”
Regardless of what’s correct. Why would the Glazers not have reached out to Cowher? The team was 1-12 a week ago. It never hurts to talk.

That is SO disheartening if that turns out to be a false rumor!!!!
The Bucs FINALLY getting a quality winning HC would sure turn around the expectations of the 2010 season and actually give the fans HOPE for a team worth watching and be proud of!!!

I totally agree. Morris SUCKS outloud in color ,Stero Dolby Dolby 4.0 You people are giving him credit for fixing something HE BROKE, like than king a doctor for leaving a pair of scissors in you after surgery.Missed field goal at the end of regulation,give him credit for that too.How about the special teams today they won the game, no thanks to radio. How can you want him back next year,dont you think he’done enough damage already.

WHY should the Bucs bring back Radio Morris?
So he can learn what plays to call on 4th and inches next year?
So his OC can take 15 games to learn that you need to run the ball 9 times in a row instead of asking an INT prone rookie QB to toss the ball 40+ times?
Maybe we should bring Radio back so he and Duminik can draft Kansas State defensive lineman in the draft.

I know we should bring back Morris so the Bucs can release Rhonde Barber this year.

WoW! Going through different Buc fans sites you can tell which Fans actually have a clue as to what good coaching potential actually looks like and which just defend him for what they see him as representing! What a poor and sad reason to offend someone. A person that completely SUCKS at coaching football doesn’t deserve to be a coach NO exceptions, NO passes, NO sympathy! He is just wasting space that a good quality coach could actually be filling and making a quality name and rep for the team instead of this JOKE that will just continue to tarnish and even ruin what has taken the past 14+ years to finally get to. Many of us older long time Bucs fans know how bad it was the first 20 years and after enduring that we have no desire to see our team go right back to that which Morris is taking them back to at a rapid pace. If the Bucs organization wants to see many more wins that equals to playoffs that equals to a chance at the Super Bowl then the Brothers need to learn how to evaluate coaching talent and not take so many chances at ruining their daddy’s TEAM!!!
