Interesting…even though it’s ‘unprecedented’…neither the Glazers nor @joe thinks this is a clear signal that the pick is Kid Fameis.

A visit with Kid Fameis is kinda logical, the guy is only about 4 hours away.

Taking a look at him up close and personal.

Will be interesting to see if they do the same with Mariota…but even if they do, having Kid Fameis in first…is kind of indicative of the preference for someone – or groups of someone’s – pretty powerful within the organization.

I guess it depends on how much time was spent with Mariota in Indianapoliss.

I hate to see it, I think Kid Fameis is ALL hype.

The next key is to see who is brought in via free agency…because per @joe statement – a veteran QB is desperately needed…and a Tackle and Guards are critical if you’re going to commit your future to a drop back QB.

Sorry, for me, it’s just more “…back, to the future” crap.

@WHITE TIGER- I agree I also think he is overrated. and could be trouble off the field and on like with his its all about me attitude! also espn said the visit was early because of winstons schedule and the bucs don’t want that timeline during free agency. but of course all these fsu Winston lovers are pissing there pants like its a done deal! whatever.

  4. Cannon Fire Says:

He may be a dumbass, but he is certainly not overrated.

  5. NJBucsFan Says:

Would Winston be as highly regarded if he played in the SEC against real competition?

  6. 87ForJameisNOMariota Says:

Thanks Joe for alerting me about the PR campaign going on at Buccaneers.com. I went there for a bit and you’re right. It’s Jameis fever going on over there.

  7. grafikdetail Says:

the reasoning behind the early visit was to work around around Winston’s schedule

I don’t know, but for some reason many SEC teams wanted him. Hmmmm
