Slumpbuster?

Might Packers QB Aaron Rodgers have to change his vow of gameday celibacy with his hottie girlfriend, actress Olivia Munn, after dropping a No. 2 last week in Buffalo?

Might Packers QB Aaron Rodgers have to change his vow of gameday celibacy with his hottie girlfriend, actress Olivia Munn, after shatting the bed last week in Buffalo?

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers might be in a slump. Oh, that is rare for an elite NFL quarterback and a guy who sure seems like his bust in Canton is already made.

Arguably the front-runner for offensive MVP this season, Rodgers had a rare bad game last week in Buffalo, his in recent memory, when he completed only 17 of 42 passes with two picks and no touchdowns in a bad loss for the Packers.

The setback puts the Packers in danger of not making the playoffs when it seemed they were all set to wrap up home field advantage.

Rogers, in fact, rarely has two bad games in a row. Jason Wilde of ESPNWisconsin.com did the digging to show how strange it is for Rodgers to have any type of an extended slump.

In 101 career regular-season starts, Rodgers has had a sub-80.0 passer rating in only 11 of those games (10.9 percent). All 11 of those games were away from Lambeau Field, and the Packers have lost nine of them.

Historically, though, Rodgers has followed his worst performances with some of his best. In the games immediately following his 10 previous substandard games, the Packers are 7-3, and they’ve won their last six games that followed one of Rodgers’ “stinkers.” It’s also worth noting that of those 10 previous “stinkers,” five occurred before the 2010 season, including four in 2008 during Rodgers’ first year as the starter.

Ah, but is Rodgers due for one of those rare back-to-back bad games? Well, it seems the Den of Depression might actually be Rodgers’ Kyrptonite. Consider the following little nugget unearthed by BSPN:

Joe has no idea what the hell “Total QBR” is, nor cares. And quarterback ratings may be the most bogus stat in all of statistical graffiti. But 0-2 and six picks speaks volumes.

Joe remembers the last time Rodgers came to Tampa. He led the playoff-bound Packers to the Stadium on Dale Mabry Highway to play the winless Bucs in 2009, with rookie quarterback Josh Freeman making his first NFL start. In one of the biggest upsets of the season, Freeman and the Bucs punked the Packers. Freeman’s short touchdown pass to Sammie Stroughter late in the game proved to be the difference.

So Joe wonders if, after a rare terrible game for Rodgers, and seeing as he has had nothing but bad luck in Tampa Bay, that Rodgers may want to rescind his habit of not dropping the hammer on his exotic girlfriend, actress Olivia Munn, on gamedays.

Munn describes this in detail in the Bravo Network video below.

You know, sort of a slumpbuster in reverse?

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have proven through 12 of 14 weeks that if your team needs a victory, they are there to acomodate that…

Plenty of time after the game for shagging. Munn will be no distraction.

Sadly that’s about all the Buc defense will be is a minor distraction.

This is going to be a “neutral site” game for the Pack not an away game. As Joe has reported already the tickets on Stub Hub etc and the way the prices have gone indicate the “Cheeseheads” have invested heavily into their Holiday vacations. And so there were be loud cheers from one side and some booing from the Buc fans when they commit yet another stupid McCown…er turnover.
To me McCown and turnover have become synonymous.

I think our draft position is safe from the threat of any Buc upset. It’s tomorrow nights game between the Titans and the Jags that will end up have far more effect on our draft spot than the Packer contest.

Rodgers and the Pack are not closed to desperate. A Bucs L is all but guaranteed. The game that most threatens the Bucs losing is New Orleans.
They’re not really a good team this year but they have been playing better at least.

Hope the Bucs kick the shizz out of the Pack. Send those Cheese heads out of RayJay crying like a bunch of bloated babies. I couldn’t care less if we don’t have the #1 overall pick in the draft. After beating the Steelers, beating the Packers would shed some much needed light on this dismal season. Wouldn’t mind stomping the Saints either. Their fans are horrible. “WHO DAT!”. “Yeah. F U!”
Oh yeah! I remember Olivia Munn before she had the English accent. Pretentious twat.

  4. Fort Myers Dave Says:

Rest assured that Rodgers will do better than 17 for 42 vs our Bucs on Sunday. Weather will be warm be doubt if the Packers will fall to the 70+ curse they have in December; perhaps the Bucs cover that 11 point spread and cost some degenerate Packer Backers some coin by only losing 27-17 as we know that the Bucs can not score more than 17 points unless they are up against a bad D (Saints, Steelers on that week with injuries) or playing one of the few teams in the NFL actually worse off in talent and coaching than the Bucs (Washington)………

I was having a hard time concentrating on the words with that picture of Olivia. Aaron Rodgers of 2014 is not the same as the guy that blew the game in 2009. Rodgers wins the game and gets the girl.

  6. DooshLaRue Says:

Not saying I wouldn’t tap that……but she looks like she’s possessed.
    Kinda creepy.

We need to keep the roll the ball hike play..lol

Nice job Joe coming up with an excuse to post that picture of Rodgers GF. Her “come do me” look would be hard to resist – even on the night before a big game.

I don’t think the Packers have much to worry about this Sunday – so have at it Aaron.

You should probably give most of the credit to the Bills. Two weeks against Manning and Rodgers, 0 TDs, 4 INTs. Great defense.

  12. MadMax Says:

Dear Santa: Olivia Munn please…..need to be taught some new gaming skills 😀

Hey Joe, if the article is titled “slumpbuster” shouldn’t there be a picture of a fat and ugly chick?

  15. tmaxcon Says:

No that takes “Pulling” to a new level. And to think people questioned Rogers sexuality last year… Way to NUKE that BS.
