Loved his post-game interview last week too. This guy is maturing in every way on and off the field. Remember his early interviews after the draft? He was so quiet and timid. I wasn’t sure he was smart or confident enough to make it in the NFL. Wow what a difference. Here’s to you, Mike! Best of luck to you and the team this weekdend. Go Bucs!!!!!
PS That Rams hit he talked about should have been a penalty and we should have won that game. Period.

Evans is the biggest positive in this (so far) season of utter frustration. Normally I think its a bad idea to draft a receiver with such a high pick – but Evans has (to this point) been everything and more you would hope for from your high #1 draft pick in his rookie year.

To go along with his apparent elite talent – Evans seems to have his head on straight and carries/presents himself very well. Congratulations on your success this season Mr Evans and Thank You for your work ethic and devotion to becoming the best Buccaneer receiver you can be.

And congratulations also to L&L and the scouting team for identifying the best player we could have gotten with that #7 overall pick. Sticking to your board and going BPA with every day 1 and 2 draft pick – regardless of position need – is how you build a franchise the right way – and is also what has been sorely lacking from our drafts for the last decade. Stay the course – build your solid foundation through the draft – and find ways to improve the team every day. This is the formula that will bring the Tampa Bay Buccaneers back to “relevant”.
