The Bucs had five sacks in the first half against Pittsburgh. Awesome!

The Bucs have five sacks throughout the 13 other halves of football they’ve played. Ugly!

In this short preview of the Bucs-Browns game Sunday, Ch. 10, WTVT-TV sports anchor Dave Wirth offers some hard truth on the Bucs’ pass rush and more.

Enjoy.

Perhaps Schiano can show them how to dial up some stunts.

  2. Skyline Crew Says:

    I can answer. NO

    @ 87

Glad to see you don’t have it in you to root for a loss just to tank for Winston….I was beginning to wonder.
It take character to stick with a loser and to wish them well. If we want Winston bad enough, we’ll pay whatever price necessary…..so lets win Sunday!!!

  4. Biff Barker Says:

Maybe the bigger question is will the team show up on Sunday?

It’s hard to single out any one unit.

  5. ElioT Says:

Q: “Will The Pass Rush Show Up?”

    A: “…no.”

The Browns O-Line will look like the starting line for AFC Pro Bowl squad on Sunday.

    Guaranteed.

    Go Sucs!

  6. INDYbucsfan Says:

    No

  7. NewTampaChris Says:

Which Brown will be Offensive / Defensive / Special Teams Player of the Week?

  8. billy buckaroo Says:

Maybe if they start some of the backups

  9. The Buc Realist Says:

Funny, were are all the “experts” that told Coach Schiano that they just needed to be turned loose!

  10. Pete 422 Says:

Haven’t we been asking that all season?

  11. ElioT Says:

    LOL Moment of the Day:

    – Word on the street is that Cousins will start at LT on Sunday.

    Wow…

Even with this wretched line, both 5th Rd picks (Edwards/Pamphile) are either on the bench or healthy scratches every game.

    GREAT JOB L&L.

    Go Sucs!

  13. Tampabaybucfan Says:

    Knock Knock!

“Trick or Treat”……..”Who are you dressed up as?”….

    “A Tampa Bay Buc DE”……

    “But that’s not scary”

    ” I know, but can I have some candy anyway…..preferably soft”….

  14. ddneast Says:

Sorry PortRichey, but one thing you can’t say Lovie does me that is make excuses for losses other than to say the team didn’t play well enough

  15. ddneast Says:

    I hate iPads.
So PortRichey, shut the door to your trailer and not another word out of your ill informed mouth.
Two things need to happen for the Bucs to win. Both the offensive and defensive line need to start showing up and playing up to their paychecks.
Everything else will take care of itself if that happens.

  16. BUCTROOPER Says:

I am so sick of reading this article. Where is the pass rush? Where is the pass rush? It is so redundant

Listen up. There is no pass rush. It’s not coming. This isn’t a question of a bunch of guys just deciding to do something like paint the house. These people are in capable of rushing the passer. So quit expecting it to just turn on one day and all of a sudden they’re going to be sacking quarterbacks left and right.

So let’s do the fans a favor. Quit selling hope where there is no hope. Websites like this are just insulting the intelligent fans by attempting to create mystery when there is none.

They won’t sack the quarterback. They are incapable of second the quarterback. And as a result the secondary will continue to get burned and give up huge chunks of yards per game. It would probably be safer to anticipate at least two more blowout losses then to anticipate the pass rush finally getting it together.

  17. Buccfan37 Says:

The players are in sync with the uniforms.

  18. Mike J Says:

Well, I can tell you that that O-line didn’t look like much vs. Jacksonville recently. Neither did the QB.
