“The Only Thing Missing… “

WDAE-AM 620 personality Tom Krasniqi (“TKras”) wondered what weapon was used by  Anthony Collins while thieving Team Glazer of his salary.

Joe guesses he might be one of these guys who likes to slash his wrists. Why else would he watch a replay of that abomination of a football game between the Vikings and Bucs again?

But there Joe was, like a moth to a porch light, watching the replay on NFL Network.

Joe has heard fans freak out over the play of left tackle Anthony Collins. So with this replay of the game, Joe wanted to watch how badly Collins played. Simply put, Vikings defensive end Everson Griffen completely and totally owned Collins. It was one of the biggest mismatches Joe had ever seen.

With the exception of two plays — one, Griffen fell down — Collins was simply overwhelmed by Griffen. The second play was the go-ahead touchdown throw from Mike Glennon to Austin Seferian-Jenkins. On that play, Collins stonewalled Griffen. It was the only time.

Every time — and Joe means every time — Griffen tried a swim move to the inside, he got right past Collins like he was a mailbox.

It was matador blocking at its finest.

Now after the game, Joe brought audio and transcribed a classic Tom Krasniqi rant on Collins. “TKras,” who will start his WDAE-AM 620 weekday morning show with Ronnie Lane on Monday, resumed railing on Collins while substituting for Joe’s good friend, “The Big Dog,” Steve Duemig yesterday. TKras repeated that Collins was a thief.

“The only thing missing was a .45 and a ski mask!”

Joe must admit that is special, even hearing it a second time. Now Collins has had decent games this year. Sunday certainly was not one of them.

Today at 5 p.m., Joe will join Duemig for the weekly “JoeBucsFan.com Hour” on WDAE-AM 620, and Joe will have something to say about Collins that he thinks Bucs fans ought to know. You will want to tune in.

Move Dotson to LT…..start Pamphile and bring Edwards in a rotation at G.

Bench Collins for a game or two…..

    Warhop…..

    The bungling former Bengal’s coach.

Hand picked by “Coach” Smith and in turn he hand picked Cousins and Collins. Yeah, great.

Shameful performance by the OL. Bye week. Second season.

    +1 TBF.

I just posted in the other article that “Coach” Smith needs to bench Michael Johnson too.

The “ski mask and a 45′ is a classic.

What a breath of fresh air Krasniqi was last night. He should be alone from 3-6pm on there.

  7. DB55 Says:

Joe I think on the TD pass it was actually bobby Rainey who blocked griffin with a cut block. I watched it again myself on DVR last night. Best play griffin made was chasing down Herron on the reverse. (Slowest reverse of all time). If Herron is supposed to be a speedster we’re in trouble.

One thing no one is talking about is that sweet 40 yard bomb glennon dropped in evans basket. Or how Rainey is really improving, play strong and making plays.

Did you happen to watch to best 3tech in the league in the fourth qrt? Never mind, it’s not worth it.

  8. Rob Says:

Only Donald Penn’s performance against the Rams last year was worse

  9. RealityCheck Says:

Weird, when the QB had time to let a play develop, he placed a perfect ball and we scored a TD. Is that how football works?

  10. Patrick in VA Says:

@RealityCheck – i’d forgotten as well. It’s been a while since I’ve been able to watch games other than the bucs (comes with being married with a couple babies) but, from what I remember, the QB is supposed to have enough time to let a play unfold the way it’s supposed to. At least most of the time. My experience, of late, has been that the QB is supposed to be bracing for the hit as soon as he calls for the ball

LOL! DB55, at least now we know the Bucs will have the best 3tech in the league for the next 7 years, not to mention, the rest of the squad won’t have to worry about buying ice cream either.

    Joe –
I gotta admit, you guys have really matured your material and content. Your access and increased presence in the Tampa market in the recent years have been outstanding as a media outlet.

Kudos to you guys and I absolutely love this site and this is the only thing making the Bucs losing since the Gruden era bearable.

I’m proud to be a member of the JBFMob

  15. DB55 Says:

    Lightning

Yup!! It’s a sad state of affairs.

  16. Buccfan37 Says:

I like to listen to Tkras too. But I won’t rewatch a Bucs loss. Too depressing the first go round.

  17. Joe Says:

    Architek:

    Thanks man. Appreciate your support.

More excuses for Collins, do-no-wrong Lovie and his lapdog GM? Not sure I can take much more of that.

That would be great or better yet, leave TKras with his new AM show and play Jay Mohr live, 3-6!…”as far as that’s concerned”

ever watchthose NatGeo shows about Lions or other dominate mamals challenge the OLD ruling Big Male (dawg) for mating…errr listening rights….:-)

  21. sho nuff Says:

Yes T-Kras is what this market needs…unfortunately they saddled him with a dead weight starting on Monday….why they still use “it” from 3-6 is beyond me…the lack of emotional intelligence in that slot is unlistenable….

  22. lightningbuc Says:

Krasniqi was even able to disagree with some of the callers without belittling and ridiculing them – he just gave his rebuttal to the caller, but in a professional manner. And you’re right, DallasBuc, I don’t think he once uttered “as far as that’s concerned”.

  23. Phillip Says:

Man remember when people were calling Dom terrible for him not drafting linemen and fielding the O-line we had last year?? Take that line all day and twice on SUNDAY over this line… For those who are like ya they were bad last year too… Well lets see how many are starting on other NFL teams?

Hmmm that is the definition of BAD COACHING… Congrats Schiano supporters and Lovie optimists

Been saying we should move Dotson to LT since we signed Collins.
