The oil companies are ripping off the public big time. Peak oil is total BS. Oil was about 95 dollars per barrel and fell to 3. 13 a gallon at the pumps. The barrel price fell further to around 92.50 while the pump price rose to 3.25 a gallon. They won’t let it drop below 3.00 a gallon. Collusion between big oil and auto manufactuers keep mpg at pitiful levels around 25 mpg on average. Average mpg’s should average closer to 50 mpg. The price at the pump should be half it’s present cost. The rest is pure rip off. This industry that pollutes the earth takes us all for a bunch of suckers. Their opinion is right on target.
