Baseball games are too long, make a rule to speed up the pitches. What is more aggravating on TV is football and the onslaught of commercials piled one upon another. If you timed the plays from snap to whistle, actual action would add up to far less than ad spots. I would guess football plays add up to less than 10 minutes for the entire game. I want to time it on a stopwatch to how little action there really is. The game is ruined with all these repetitive breakups. At least in baseball, an inning can be played without ads, barring injury and pitching changes.

The average game action from football is only something like 700 seconds long… or a little over 11 minutes. I do hate the ads, but there is nothing better than football.

Those aren’t ads. Those are bathroom breaks and beer runs! :)

I’ve never read any studies but I’m pretty sure the actual game action from baseball is quite a bit less than football (timing the time the pitcher starts his motion to home plate and the play is concluded). That was boring even writing that… blah BASEBALL BLAH!!!
