Tom Crabtree Gets Defensive

April 25th, 2014

Appearing very relaxed after the ousting of Greg Schiano — on Twitter and in the locker room –Bucs tight end Tom Crabtree is back to his old self under the new Lovie Smith regime. His unpredictable sense of humor has returned.

Joe caught up to Crabtree yesterday and he got a little defensive about his tattoos, as you’ll see in the video below. Crabtree was on the field for this week’s three day minicamp but coaches didn’t have him do much as his bicep is still rehabbing. (Enjoy this exclusive JoeBucsFan.com locker room video. It can only be posted for 24 hours)

Thanks to the NFL and Buccaneers.

Really Joe? Why did you feel the need to insult him like that? Your site ends with 7 letters (minus the dot com) But the way you rag on some of our players just leaves me smdh sometimes! But I know its your site, you guys do what you want…but you just may have hurt your future trust of other players who see you coming and asking for an interview. Like he said “we can end this interview right now”….dont shoot yourselves in the foot Joe’s!

You got to be kidding. Crabtree and Joe were having fun with each other. Life isn’t so serious. –Joe

100% mad max. Players can just give yes no answers if they get tired of people. Joe! Stay positive!!! That’s why I love your site

OMG, how stupid are you and Jon????

    They were playing around. Sheesh…

Crabtree’s sense of humor alone should make him a starter. Would like to see him be an active participant of the new offense

I haven’t seen much from this guy, but he has a pretty good yards per catch avg. Hoping he can translate that to the Bucs. So far he’s getting pushed down the depth chart. Thankfully Stocker is injured more than him.

I was REALLY happy when I heard the bucs got Crabtree from GB. Not for his sense of humor but for his on the field play. I would like to see him and Wright on the field. He’s got GREAT hands and can come through in clutch situations. Thought it was a mistake for GB to let him go. Hope he get’s some quality playing time this year.

Geez, so that is what you consider insulting someone? Wow, that’s really funny that you could watch that interview and come away with that take. SMH

  9. lurker Says:

    love me some crabtree, now.

  10. MadMax Says:

@Hawaiian, I was playing along with it….lol. Shouldve put a wink at the end, my bad.

Crabtree should get the opportunity to show what he can do, but it has to be good value vs. what he is paid. They don’t have to keep four TEs. If not worth his pay, say bye to Crabtree!
