    Any Monday night games?

If there were, Joe would have pointed them/it out just like he did for the Thursday night game.

  7. NickL Says:

No Monday nighters?? The skins get 4 primetime… What a joke.

  8. Hawaiian Buc Says:

That’s a brutal opening to the season. I’d be happy to go 3-3 on the first 6. If we can survive that, I think we’ll be okay. Then again, you never know who is going to be good and who is going to be bad this time of year.

  9. Joe Says:

I’d be happy to go 3-3 on the first 6.

    Yup.

  10. snook Says:

    3 straight road games.

Only 1 of 4 teams to get that.

    Coooooool.

  11. BucFanIn Arkansas Says:

Harkening back to Dungy era outdated, overrated stats: No real “cold weather game” threats! So there’s a silver lining.

  15. PRBucFan Says:

That’s a pretty tough schedule but I am stoked.

No “easy schedule” excuses if we have success.

  16. Joe Says:

    The skins get 4 primetime

    All about eyeballs.

  17. gatrbuc17 Says:

We got F–D! Three Road games in a row then 4 out of 5 at 11-15??

  18. Piratic Says:

    I miss Rachel.

  19. SeanyMac in SC Says:

Start and end with two home games, that’s cool.

  20. RastaMon Says:

OMG…..Rachael….how many draft picks does one have to for go….all that aside….I am so happy for her…and that one day as a Grand Ma…her kids will bust out the photos of her….SEC 123 !

  21. Scott Says:

That early 3 game road trip is brutal!

So much for an easier schedule. And even this depends on which version of the Falcons we get.

    Sheesh…

  23. BuccaneerBonzai Says:

October 12 is a tough game as well.

I said yesterday I would rather have a tough schedule so our team has a chance to win if they make the playoffs. Me and my big mouth.

Freaking Falcons ALWAYS get an easier schedule.

  24. Nick Says:

Nice and cool day for a game against the Packers, sounds good to me.

And Jesus Joe, you aren’t wrong for fantasizing about her… good lord.

  25. RastaMon Says:

So..let this be the 1st…2015 QB Mock Draft pick thread……SUCK it UP Buttercups !…..every Sunday is a Game…not a season…What a grand colossal group of hand wringing crybabies…”You” have become ….

  26. Rrsrq Says:

Helluva schedule, glad to have Carolina early, hopefully Cam not fully healthy, but he probably will be.

  27. Patrick Says:

Why do they constantly refuse to give us a Sunday or Monday night game?? The Skins have FOUR. Explain that.

  28. The_Buc_Realist Says:

6-10 For the Bucs, Can’t wait!

  29. JT Says:

How many people actually want to watch the Tampa Bay Buccaneers…exactly. No national interest equals no primetime exposure. Of course part of that is the national medias fault. Ever since the Rays took out the Red Sux in the alcs and proved they weren’t going away bspn has done everything they could to not only make all of Tampa Bay the laughing stock of sports but just keep us as irrelevant as possible. Im no conspiracy theorist but I truly beleive that. Im not blind to their “hidden” agenda.

  30. Mr Lucky Says:

    @Patrick

The Bucs don’t DESERVE ANY PRIME TIME GAMES!

You need to EARN those spots. The Skins got 4 because of their FRANCHISE QB

Maybe when the Bucs draft our FRANCHISE QB (instead of a Bust in waiting Josh) we will get some RESPECT

Until this winners get asked to the Prom

  31. Barry Says:

Schedules don’t mean Shi t. Just go effn play.

  32. Eric Says:

    Very doable.

    10-6

Two home games to start then two to finish.

Nice 2-0 start. Get the momentum going.

  33. PhantomVash808 Says:

Only 1 primetime game. I guess the only way to increase this is if the Bucs win or draft Johnny Football than there games would get flexed to the primetime slot since game flexes start from week 5 now.

Man week 3-5 is gonna be a tough stretch.

Can’t wait for football to return already.

  34. JT Says:

We will beat was, cin, min, cle. We will win at least the home game against atl im sure last years beat down in rayjay is in the back of matt ryans mind. I think this defense will be able to keep us in all 16 games this year. However some O will be needed against the saints the panthers the rumble tumble steelers. I cant WAIT for football!

  35. Owlykat Says:

I bet this schedule does not scare Lovie one bit. He knows all about playing his foes from our old conference. Bet his DC can tell him plenty about the Vikings’ pesonnel too! The early part of our schedule should be easier because our foes don’t know Tedford’s playbook. Then when teams do start to figure it out, by then our team will have jelled and will have the new systems down and speed up our game since we will be able to just react with little thinking!

  36. Pelbuc Says:

No matter the schedule, just get receivers, olinemen and depth and we’ll be fine. Now we have competent coaches. Go Bucs

  37. k1ngadroc Says:

The one time I actually watch BSPN live they just broke down the schedule for all team and literally skipped to Bucs. They said people are interested in them cause of Lovie… What a joke

  38. ChrisCo4Bucs Says:

    That cheerleader is hot

  39. Eric Says:

Cam Newton v Johnny Football in the first game.

    Awesome.

  40. Owlykat Says:

Bet Lovie isn’t scared of this schedule because he gets all our Division foes early before they can figure out how to defense Tedder’s Offense. After that our team should be jelled and know the playbook well enough they can play faster without having to think too much. Then Lovie gets to play against our old division that Lovie knows best and Frazier can tell him all about the Viking’s personnel too. We haven’t earned the right to play night games yet, but after we become a dynasty that will change.

  41. Justin Says:

@Mr.Lucky…the redskins have a franchise QB huh? What pick do thy have this year? 2nd overall? Ok thanks just checking..didnt know teams with a franchise QB pick in the top 2. Franchise qbs also don’t throw 16 tads and 12 ints…FTFY

  42. BOb Says:

Redskins gave up this years 1st round pick and last years for that “franchise” QB No????? the pay-off?? 4 prime time games. Congrats are in order folks!

so we got redskins and rams as our previously unknown opponents. do we ever NOT play the rams??????? every year it seems

  43. WalkdaPlank Says:

Schiano started out with the Panthers too. And they have been sweeping each other back and forth since 2009. Time for the cycle to repeat itself and for the Bucs to punch them in the mouth. I’d love to see the Bucs beat the cheesheads at home, and for Lovie and McCown to beat Chicago in their house, if McCown is the QB.

  44. WalkdaPlank Says:

@Eric- lol might not be seeing Mancrush and the Bucs on the same field till November 2nd.

  45. Buc1987 Says:

All you losers who don’t want to go to the games get 3 TV away games in a row. Good for you and you suck.

@Realist as of right now yup. 6-10 seems plausible to me. How’s that for homerism and realism for you homers?

Lovie’s here Lovie’s here..he’s going to save the day.

    Nope.

This shyte takes time. I’m going to as many games as I can this season. I’m shelling out cash money knowing this shyte takes time. I’m still taking it all in though.

I already miss the atmosphere of RJS.

  46. Buc1987 Says:

Other than all that I did enjoy reading all the homer comments.

  47. Buc1987 Says:

    Owlykat says
“but after we become a dynasty that will change.”

    Ya see?

You are going to to be an interesting one Owlykat, please do stick around.

  48. Buc1987 Says:

    Homers.

  49. Bucky1 Says:

She’s Hot and taken. Joe told the story of meeting up with her I believe at RayJ and she knew of his fantasies. @Joe maybe you could retell the story and post more pictures.

Id be happy with 8-8 with that schedule. Lovey will get more out of them because they are a new team and he has already won their loyalty. Schiano had the teams willingness to work together the first year because he put fear into them. 2nd year so much discord and number 5 bitching and turning everyone against each other (who’s on my side, etc) Mrsa. One hell of a mess. Glad we are starting out with harmony.

  50. Cmurda Says:

I apologize in advance to Joe for saying this but… Am I the only one that stared at Rachel Watson for at least 10 minutes and didn’t even read the article? So, what were we talking about? A schedule of some sort?

  51. PRBucFan Says:

    Doom and gloom

  52. William Says:

6 – 10 is my guess. Unless we start to jell offensively and defensively early then we could do better.

    Go Bucs!

Connor Shaw is coming to Tampa.

  53. SeanyMac in SC Says:

If the Bucs do something interesting this season, the NFL can “flex” a game to Sunday night after week 5. Just saying.

  54. lightningbuc Says:

16-0 with John Manziel – 0-16 without John Manziel

  55. Jason De La Torre Says:

Don’t you just love the internet strongmen who like to come on comments sections, forecast doom and gloom and then call anyone who doesn’t agree “homers”?

As if they have a clue who will good, who will be bad, who’ll have injuries at the time the Bucs play them, what injuries the bucs may have, what the offense will look like, how quickly the defense will gel…

Bottom line, I think we all understand you really can’t go by last year’s record. Almost every year, half the field in the playoffs change. Who saw Atlanta’s fall after hosting the NFC Championship Game? Who saw the rise of the KC Chiefs or Carolina – whose coach was on the hot seat? The Super Bowl champs not even making the playoffs?

I sure as hell didn’t see Arizona as a 10-6 team last year. You never really know who will be good and who won’t, who will have injuries, which teams will respond under new coaching…all the Bucs can control are themselves. L & L are trying to put together the best football team they can for 2014. We’ll see where it stacks up…

  56. bucrightoff Says:

Brutal first six, softens in the middle five and then five more tough games to finish. The only game I look at as a probable win is Minnesota. Every thing else looks like it could be pretty tough. It’s about surviving the first six at either 2-4 or 3-3, got hot when the schedule softens with a 4-1 or 5-0 stretch, and hope the momentum carries into the final five games.

No point in making a prediction quite yet because more will change. But on paper at this moment it looks pretty tough.

  57. Bucfan#37 Says:

I am predicting a win at Pittsburgh. The rest look like some toss ups and other outright losses. 7 wins is my guess.

  58. Tye Says:

Factoring in the history of the Bucs picking lousy Qbs, Lovie Smith’s history of mediocre offenses, the time it takes for so many new players to get to a point of playing together in rhythm and this schedule,
    a 6 – 10 season is plausible….

  59. Celly Says:

    Sept. 18 (Thursday) at Atlanta
    Nov. 30 Bengals
    Dec. 14 at Carolina

Living in Atlanta, thats my short list of games that i plan on trying to make it to this year. The only definite is the Thursday night game. I’ve already requested the time off from work and told my bum ass FailCon friends about it.

  60. Bucsfanman Says:

Who cares about the schedule? You play who you play.
This is easily the finest cheerleader we have….I love you!

  61. Surf Buc Says:

    Games 3-5:

I say we get 2 wins at least.

  62. Vico Says:

So, will there be any franchise qb on next year’s draft with, lets say, 5 wins? I actually think we go 8-8, but let’s keep an eye on college qbs if we don’t draft johnny.

  63. BuccaneerBonzai Says:

    Buc1987 Says
“All you losers who don’t want to go to the games get 3 TV away games in a row. Good for you and you suck.”

Didn’t you say yesterday that you gave up your season tickets?

  64. BoJim Says:

    Buc1987 Said:

    “Homers.”

    Azzhole.
