King: “I Wouldn’t Go Johnny At No. 7”

March 4th, 2014
ShaunKing

The former Bucs quarterback says a change in QB valuation is coming in the 2014 NFL Draft

Joe needs to get former Bucs quarterback Shaun King immediately evaluated by a mental health professional.

Now an NFL Draft guru and overall NFL analyst for NBC Sports and Yahoo!, King explained today that he believes Johnny Football will be available for the Bucs with the No. 7 overall pick. But the Bucs won’t draft him.

If that kind of travesty happened, Joe might have to take his first day off in 5 1/2 years. Frankly, Team Glazer absolutely would need to be at the ready on draft day to step in and make sure such an epic error is not committed.

Speaking on the Ron and Ian show on WDAE-AM 620, King said he believes Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater will be the only quarterback drafted among the top-6 picks, selected No. 1 overall by Houston. The next quarterback taken, King believes, will be Blake Bortles at No. 8 (Minnesota).

King is confident Lovie Smith does not want Johnny Football, and King said his study of Jeff Tedford leads him to believe Tedford has little-to-no experienced with a mobile/spread quarterback the likes of Johnny Football. And that’s a bad fit. “I wouldn’t go Johnny at No. 7,” King said.

Also, King, one of three QBs to lead the Bucs to the NFL Championship game, predicts a change in NFL quarterback drafting this year. The tide will turn away from overvaluing QBs, lessons learned from the state of the Titans and Vikings, teams in the same boat two or three years later after Jake Locker and Christian Ponder.

    Here we go!

  2. gt40bear Says:

Well now, If that is King’s take, then maybe I was wrong all this time. BRING ME JOHNNY FOOTBALL!

  3. BucsfaninChina Says:

Oh yes, THIS will be the year that teams will stop believing they can catch lightning in a bottle with a quarterback in the top 10. Blah.

Bortles would be the pick here. Yessiree!

  4. Buccos Says:

I have to agree with King on this one. I also would not be surprised to see JF drop on draft day into the second round over concerns about his character and size. Since Bridgewater will probably be gone if the Bucs went QB in round 1 it would probably be Carr. I don’t think they will draft a QB until round 2 and that they will take Mack at 7.

  5. The_Buc_Realist Says:

So let it be written, so let it be done. Hopefully the Left Tackle will fall to us.

  6. Rob Says:

This is the first sensible thing Sean King’s said in about 15 years.

  7. RCH Says:

If Bortles was there at seven, even though that’s highly unlikely, we better take him!

  8. Posey99 Says:

This is the only thing I’ve ever agreed with King on, surprisingly.

  9. OAR Says:

    Enjoy your day off Joe!

  10. BucFanForever Says:

King probably wants the bucs to resign Freeman.

  11. WalkdaPlank Says:

Well he is a “draft guru” right? lol

  12. OAR Says:

Maybe you and Little Johnny can go grab a beer bong?

  13. eric Says:

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1976124-brs-chris-simms-on-why-johnny-manziel-is-falling-down-nfl-teams-draft-boards

Please post LOL! The JF is going to struggle in the NFL!

  14. snook Says:

    “hey hey hey!”

  15. WalkdaPlank Says:

@Joe – I’d expect you Joes to raise hell on this site if your Johnny Mancrush is passed on if available. Lol

It would be a landmark outburst. –Joe

  16. lightningbuc Says:

I’m sure King is just jealous of Johnny Midget’s ability to get chicks while in college, like the rest of us in the Glennon Mob. Well, at least according to Joe.

  17. snook Says:

Let me guess… He likes Bridgewater…

  18. Buccos Says:

BTW King never led the Bucs to the NFL Championship game otherwise known as the Super Bowl. He did take them to the NFC Championship game. I believe that was against the Rams and we were robbed by the officials at the end of the game.

  19. bwf921 Says:

So a mobile, undersized (past tense) QB that was drafted and played for the Bucs doesn’t think that the bucs should draft a mobile QB. Hmmmm. Interesting.

  20. WalkdaPlank Says:

@lightningbuc – yes because King could only pull the 4th best looking girls in the division.

  21. Posey99 Says:

None of those quarterbacks are lock down franchise material IMO. They definitely have the potential to be, as a lot of others do, but nothing like luck or newton. As a GM or coach I wouldn’t bet my job on any of those guys in the first round but maybe bridgwater. Take Mack, Robinson or Watkins and insure you have a job next year.

  22. Tgreg Says:

First sense King has made in years.

  23. Mr. Patrick Says:

For a split second on first glance, I thought that was a picture of Sapp

  24. Oil Derrick Brooks Says:

If he’s there, and the Bucs skip him, I might light a cigar.

And, I don’t even like cigars.

That would solidify Licht for me. Please let this happen.

  25. jared Says:

I thought Carr ran a spread?

  26. mikeck Says:

I agree with King. Joe, its you who needs a mental health professional if you think its a good idea for a young franchise with a new coach and new coaching staff to bring in a cocky young kid who is short, has average arm strength and little judgement becuase he can make “exciting plays”. There is no QB in this draft worth spending a first rounder on compared to Glennon. Is Glennon great? no…but would I rather give Glennon another shot than spend a 1st round pick on Manzeil? oh yeah

  27. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Even a broken clock is right twice a day!!! Shaun King may have just stumbled on a right opinion.

“Shaun King, one of two Buc Quarterbacks that lost a NFC Championship Game when his defense gave up 11 or fewer points.”

  28. thegregwitul Says:

Tim Tebow was a first round pick and he couldn’t throw. Johnny Football may be shorter than most teams would prefer and he may also slide out of the top ten, but I don’t see how he makes it out of the first round. One of the teams in the top ten will most likely trade back into the end of round one to take a chance on Johnny, assuming of course that he does drop down.

I’d be okay with the Bucs rolling the dice, just so long as they don’t trade up from number 7 to grab Manziel. Trade back into the end of the first round like the Bucs did for Doug Martin? I’m all for it. Depending on who is on the board at 7, I wouldn’t be against grabbing him there as well.

  29. WalkdaPlank Says:

I’m sure Joe is just yanking our chains with this Johnny lush. He probably DOES want the Bucs to draft Mancrush, just not this badly. This is to annoy the MGM I guess.

  30. Luther Says:

@Jared Spread and Spread Option are 2 different offences. Spread is closer to “Chuck and Duck” and Spread Option is Tebow.

  31. bucrightoff Says:

Just say no to the QB. The Bucs 3 biggest issues last year were, in order: Lack of pass rush, poor offensive line play, poor secondary behind Revis. If the Bucs are not taking one of those options with the first rounder, then I pray Mr. Watkins falls to us and then he’s a no brainer. Otherwise at least two of, Mack, Barr, Lewan, Matthews or Robinson are bound to fall to us. Lets improve a big weakness rather than waste a pick on a QB when we have a guy who deserves a chance to grow.

  32. ROBERT6 Says:

    BWAAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

joe’s probably at the bar right now!

  33. Oil Derrick Brooks Says:

    Page views = $
    QBs generate page views.
Some QBs generate controversy and lots and lots of page views.

Left Tackles are boring and generate much less attention and therefore page views.

I’m sure those things are a total coincidence, and have nothing to do with all the drum beating in these parts.

Why on earth would business owners be thinking about the bottom line? I would guess that thing never gets discussed.

In fact, I’m positive this is simply about liking one player over others. I’m sure of it.

Dude, you really are clueless. If Joe was so interested in page views, Joe would have a daily rumors feature and would run all kinds of posts about the Bucs uniforms, from local and national critiques and more, among other things. Joe always has and always will write about only what Joe finds interesting. That’s the only rule around here. Like most fans, that interest revolves quite a bit around the quarterback. It’s not Joe’s fault the Bucs are one of only two NFC teams with a quarterback position in question/peril.

Additionally, Joe’s written over and over about Donald Penn and the offensive tackle positions. In fact, Joe has a left tackle post coming this afternoon. Lastly, Joe suspects if you knew magic formulas to operating a sports website, then you wouldn’t be commenting here. Joe will continue covering the Bucs in a way that interests Joe. Thankfully, that’s good for 20,000+ visits here a day. You can continue to think there’s a grand master plan as concocted by Joe in a boardroom or in daily meetings, but it’s simply inaccurate. –Joe

  34. BucFan Says:

” Joe needs to get former Bucs quarterback Shaun King immediately evaluated by a mental health professional. ”

Joe im pretty sure your the one that needs to be immediately evaluated by a mental heatlh professional, with your drinking problem.

  35. The_Buc_Realist Says:

Dream scenario, Bucs pass on Johnny Football, drafts Left tackle to replace Penn who gave up 11 sacks that was second most of all Tackles last year.

  36. WalkdaPlank Says:

What would be even funnier is if the Bucs passed on Mancrush AND THEN went on to draft McCarron instead.

  37. SeanyMac in SC Says:

No, No, No to Johnny “Spoiled Rotten” Football. For once I agree with Shawn “Burger” King.

  38. Tampabaybucfan Says:

It would be great if the Bucs traded down and still got a QB later in the 1st….but, I’d like to see them pick up Mack or Watkins @ 7.
Lets add at least one “Stud” athelete to the team. Johnny doesn’t fit that category IMO.

  39. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

See now, I don’t believe Teddy Bridgewater will succeed in the NFL. I think Blake Bortles will. And I’m on the fence about Johnny. With Johnny I’m reminded a lot of Brett Favre. But will he turn out as good? That’s the question.

We have to take one of the three if one falls to us.

  40. Ghost Says:

Good god u would think they could find someone better qualified
    Than Shawn king

  41. Drew Says:

The only hope of drafting Johnny Football is performing the wearing of the Man Crush Jockstrap ritual at the JF alter and chanting Man Crush repeatedly until exhaustion sets in. Then and only then is there any hope of JF being selected at 7.

  42. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Joe, shouldn’t a “draft guru” be someone that actually has success in predicting draft picks and such?

  43. Bill T Says:

This is not a message board. Sorry. –Joe/

  44. Harry Says:

come on now. you know if King predicts it, the opposite will happen. It means Johnny will be gone with the first pick, and Bridgewater will slide all the way to 7 where the BUCS PICK HIM!!! Now thats dreaming!

  45. Danati74 Says:

If a QB falls to us we better take that QB. Lovie almost has his defense. He’s only a few players away from a real good defense. On the offense side of the ball is a different story. almost everybody is aging, hurting, and overpaid. I would probably sign one of the DE coming into free agency and use the 1st two picks on offense.

  46. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    mikeck Says
“I agree with King. Joe, its you who needs a mental health professional if you think its a good idea for a young franchise…”

Lost me there. I don’t think a franchise that’s been around 35+ years is young any more.

And Tampa has NEVER had a true franchise QB. Why?

Because we keep making other positions a priority. It’s time to go for it, because we won’t be picking this high for a good long time with Lovie here. Every other position is usually available later in the first round. QB is more of a gamble the later you take one, and QB takes longer to develop, so it should be taken first.

  47. Oil Derrick Brooks Says:

    “Dude, you really are clueless”

Says the guy who repeatedly backed Freeman (“sign him longterm”), and Dominick.

But, alas, sure, man. I totally believe you.

Joe stands behind his claims that Dominik was at least an average GM, and that the Bucs would have been right to sign Freeman to a team-friendly extension 12 months ago. However you want to interpret team-friendly is up to you.–Joe

  48. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Oil Derrick Brooks. is it common in your upbringing to go onto someone else’s property and hurl insults? The way you speak to Joe is full of disrespect.

I was raised better than that, so I suppose that means I have a better upbringing.

  49. OAR Says:

A draft Guru? And everybody is a karate expert when they walk into a spider web too!

  50. bucsQcCity Says:

Problem with the QB of this year is that none has it all, flaws are identified in each player. At #7 we can’t just pick a high risk/high reward player because we feel it’s a need. We need to draft the BPA. If it’s a OT, then it is. If we feel we can add later then trade down. We can’t just burn draft picks for gambles like (Bowers, Mike Williams, Carimi,..). It need to stop this year. If we take QB at #7, whoever it is, I hope that it’s because that L&L determined that it is the BPA on the board, not a need/gamble pick.

  51. Phillip Says:

    @ODB

Dude you just got put in your place soooooo bad lol… Just because you see a fraction of the comments on other posts not related to the QB position doesn’t mean people aren’t clicking to read it.. There wouldn’t be half as many comments on the QB posts if you and the rest of the MGM tards wouldn’t comment the same thing over and over again..

Joe brings us BUCS insider news before any other website 90 percent of the time goes to every major event and reports at it unlike other Buc blog sites… If you really don’t like what he writes about the QB position skip the article… You Bucs1987 lightningbuc Tgreggs and plenty others seriously are on a period 24/7 and its pathetic

  52. pick6 Says:

maziel just isn’t a lovie smith QB. this isn’t some WR or d-lineman who can be marching to the beat of his own drum. QB and coach have to share a mentality for the offense and the team to be successful. teams like the raiders and vikes have a tradition of embracing a guy who plays like johnny, and maybe coaches in the chip kelly or jim harbaugh mold would love a guy like that, but manziel and lovie would go together about as well as freeman & schiano.

  53. pick6 Says:

i’m not talking about the party animal image, i’m talking about football philosophy – lovie smith’s philosophy on winning games & making the playoffs does not favor an improviser and a risk taker touching the ball on every snap and playing it fast & loose with the scheme

  54. Oil Derrick Brooks Says:

    @Philip

You need a bib. There’s still some Joe cream on your chin.

  55. Oil Derrick Brooks Says:

    @Bonzai

    Whatever helps you sleep, chief.

  56. Mike Says:

The only time I’ve ever agreed with King! Smart man right there! Lol

  57. Oil Derrick Brooks Says:

“Joe stands behind his claims that Dominik was at least an average GM”

Average GMs win championships. That’s how the saying goes, isn’t it? (or is it 4th best GM in the division? can’t remember)

As far as Freeman goes, I’ll let the writer’s statement stand in it’s own glory.

  58. Phillip Says:

    @ODB

Are you illiterate? I feel sorry for you kid.. Try going outside for once instead of complaining on every article…

I have disagreed with Joe numerous times from the nicknames being annoying to Freeman trying to sabotage the season and Schiano hiring and not being fired after the 0-8 start… I can disagree with someone without complaining or saying there is some secret motive to get more page views when Joe has said numerous times he is already the TOP non BUCS site for Buc news.. I don’t think that person would need to a secret motive to get more clicks…

It’s called respect and common sense which it is apparent that you lack in both categories… Sad really when you have Derrick Brooks in your handle too

  59. Kalind Says:

Joe, the more I read kings opinions, the more I’m convinced he visits your site regularly. This is simply the JoeBucs Tweak of The Day. The guy is just trying to rock the boat. Again. I wouldn’t take it to heart. He just wants people on this site to talk about him. “Someone! Please! Remember me!?”

So silly. When you see King on NBC Sports Network tonight (or read his mock draft on Yahoo! tomorrow) you can be certain King is not yearning for attention. –Joe

  60. lightningbuc Says:

“I can disagree with someone without complaining”

Says Phillis, who in this thread alone, has called other posters “tards” and asked if they are illiterate!

  61. Phillip Says:

    @lightningbuc

How is calling someone a tard complaining? I stated a fact that all you do is come to every QB post and complain about Joe posting about it instead of just skipping the article entirely? And should I ask you the same question because you clearly didn’t read what I typed before?? I don’t try and make fun your super original name on here as opposed to just spelling it correctly kid that is why ODB was asked if he was illiterate… Is trying to be a keyboard warrior a part time job for you or a full time?

  62. Uncle Deadly Says:

King’s opinions mean about as much as Keith McCants

  63. Harry Says:

    @ODB
You are smarter than this. If Joe infuriates you so badly, why would you come on here? Heck, you don’t even give me crap like you give Joe… LOL

  64. Bill T Says:

This is not a message board. Sorry. –Joe/

Message board? It was an article post from a well respected Bucs blogger evaluating quarterbacks that would fit Tedford’s style. Because Manziel is not one of them has you delete the post? ooook

What Joe means is Joe rarely allows links in the comments. Otherwise, there literally would be dozens of them and Joe really isn’t interested in sending readers away from JoeBucsFan.com … like you’d find at a message board. Joe knows Gil Arcia and it’s nothing personal. –Joe

  65. lightningbuc Says:

    Oil Derrick,

It’s always funny to watch Joe’s lotion boy, Phillip, rush to Joe’s defense and preach tolerance and respect, all the while alleging the rest of us are retarded, not very smart, idiots, douches, et al.

  66. lightningbuc Says:

    Oil Derrick,

It’s always funny to watch Joe’s lotion boy, Phillip, rush to Joe’s defense and preach tolerance and respect, all the while alleging the rest of us are tards, not very smart, idiots, dou-ches, et al.

    LOL “lotion boy.”

  68. JBFstalkingjohnnyfootBALLS Says:

“I wouldn’t take him in the first three rounds. That’s my opinion. It’s incomplete right now. But he has not done a whole lot to me.” -Ron Jaworski’s take on Johnny Manziel

  69. Phillip Says:

    @lightningbuc

Someone is just jealous they weren’t asked or were turned down to be the lotion boy first keyboard warrior.. Keep trying though kid..

BTW Joe has me blocked on Twitter because of our discussion of Freeman and Schiano so I don’t think he would want me to be the lotion boy

  70. Bill T Says:

What Joe means is Joe rarely allows links in the comments…….Joe knows Gil Arcia and it’s nothing personal. –Joe

Very good….have to admit, interesting analysis by Gil

  71. Oil Derrick Brooks Says:

    @phillip

    “kid”? OK, son.

That’s beyond rich coming from the absolute most disrespectful, by far, poster I have EVER seen in these parts.

and, I think that you don’t comprehend the definition of illiterate.

Now go get some ChapStick, your lips are getting dry. And watch out for lockjaw too.

  72. Clowney Says:

I think if Manziel and Bortles are available at #7 some team will be willing to pay a king’s ransom to leap ahead of Minnesota and steal their QB.

Trade back, too much talent in this draft.

  73. buchead407 Says:

I used to play touch football with bortles as qb. Pretty cool that he might be our next qb

  74. Harry Says:

    @pick6 Says:
“…maziel just isn’t a lovie smith QB… QB and coach have to share a mentality for the offense and the team to be successful… lovie smith’s philosophy on winning games & making the playoffs…”

Look, lets be real here. You have no clue as to what is Lovie desires in his QB. They don’t have to have the same personality to be winners together. And there is no question Johnny is a winner; it has yet to be determined if he can be one in the NFL.

You think Jay Cutler and Lovie are alike? Any coach in Lovies position wants a QB who can lead, someone teammates will run thru a wall for. He doesn’t want an improvisor? I disagree, most coaches want someone who can make a play when there isn’t one there; that happen many times in every game.

  75. The_Buc_Realist Says:

Its funny, I just heard the audio clip, and King was adament that if Manziel is on the board at #7 the Bucs should trade down. He said it 3 times. Because there are so many holes on the roster and the Bucs have only 5 draft picks.

Its funny how we all hear what we want to hear.

  76. Hawk Says:

@ Buccaneer Bonzai “And Tampa has NEVER had a true franchise QB. Why?

Because we keep making other positions a priority. It’s time to go for it, because we won’t be picking this high for a good long time with Lovie here.”

I disagree, and history bears me out. Of course, if your definition of “priority” is to spend TWO first round picks for one QB, then you are correct. The Buccaneers have spent SIX (6) first round picks on QBs. NONE of them ever got much better than ‘average’.

Every other position is usually available later in the first round. QB is more of a gamble the later you take one, and QB takes longer to develop, so it should be taken first.

Only if that QB is a true ‘can’t miss’ player. There are no such QBs in this draft. We’d be getting another Trent Dilfer… if we’re lucky.

  77. zam Says:

If Johnny Football is there at 7, we sure as shootin better trade down! Just to see Joe’s reaction would be worth it.

  78. PRBucFan Says:

Manziel appreciates the endorsements as Joe provides about 80% of his online articles and exposure nowadays ahahaha 😉

Who knew King could actually be right once in a while lol

  79. My Buc-O's Says:

Bridgewater better than Johnny Football? Check the wins and losses. Then check their schedule strength . Seems like Shaun has found some good weed because he’s trippin.

  80. Shawnbucfan Says:

Who cares what the Burger King thinks ? Let’s do what the other half of the community does , and listen to dumieg and agree with whatever he says for a qb

  81. Bill Wheeler Says:

I turn off the radio and my computer when I hear the name Shaun King mentioned….he was a below average NFL QB who did not have the discipline to keep in shape(looks like he still doesn’t) who benefitted from a stellar defense who held the record breaking Rams to 11 points. Why anyone asks his opinion on anything is beyond me.

  82. Buc1987 Says:

I’ll be laughing my mofo ass off on draft day when Manziel drops to 7 and the Bucs pass on him.

The question is. How many of you will join in with me?

  83. PRBucFan Says:

    I will

  84. Buc1987 Says:

    PRB…I might just piss myself.

  85. lurker (ggr) Says:

this is funny, since most of you mgm’ers don’t like king and think his takes are wrong. so what a conundrum you are in. do you agree with king now?

  86. lurker (ggr) Says:

    geoffrey glennon realist

  87. PRBucFan Says:

I don’t agree with King generally but even a blind man is bound to hit his target eventually.

I want a new QB as long as it’s not the leprechaun.

  88. Brandon Says:

If an overrated some-day-to-be-obese midget is worth a 2nd round pick… Manziel (overrated by some, underrated by others) is worth higher than a 1st rounder…. if there were such a thing.

  89. Eric Says:

    King loved Raheem.

    I rest my case……

  90. FB Says:

Damn, this has been a long set of posts. Maybe Joe won’t get to this, much less anyone else.

Here is the problem I see…. I was a long time subscriber to Pewter Report, but one day they got too much of an ego and started believing their own crap. I gladly hopped to Joe’s blog, and was pleasantly refreshed. While Joe gave his opinions and preferences he was always humble and offered dissenting opinions without attitude. Things however are changing here at joebucs, and the constant pom pom waiving for Manziel is bordering on obnoxious. Currently I am spending more time on Bucs Nation now as their are many more dissenting articles available to the overall opinion of the main writer. Even Scott Reynolds has gotten better now that he has to work for a living and doesn’t get spoon fed crap from his old insiders that are now gone.

Joe, you still have the content, and I hope we get back to reality again so you will be the best bucs blog again once this Johnny Football crap gets put to rest. I was on the fence, but now am over one side hoping he doesn’t come here so we can get a good quality bucs blog back.

  91. Phillip Says:

    @ODB

No kid I do understand the term.. You unfortunately do not or you would have spelt something as easy as PHILLIP correctly… Like I said go outside and play for once kid instead of being on a period 24/7…

  92. Oil Derrick Brooks Says:

    @moron

    “spelt”

    Do you mean spelled, Einstein?

It was a typo, but, a mouth breather like you doesn’t have the grey matter to pick up on that. If your pink panties are that bunched up about a missing “L”, then maybe you should take a midol and come back tomorrow.

  93. WalkdaPlank Says:

As funny as OBD’s comebacks are, gentlemen, please. We are all fans of the same team.

  94. Eric Says:

Can only hope that more analysts say this, then we can snag the most exciting QB over the last 20 years.

Our first offensive Hall of Famer.

If we get him I predict NFC south Title and a playoff run.

  95. WalkdaPlank Says:

    *ODB I mean

  96. lightningbuc Says:

The smartest man on JBF, Kid Phillip, chastising someone about spelling and using the word “spelt” in the same sentence. Priceless!

  97. Oil Derrick Brooks Says:

    @lightning

It truly does not get better than that.

It honestly was a typo on my part, but, now after all of this, he will forever be Philip to me.

Hi Philip!! Did I spelt that right??

  98. PRBucFan Says:

    lol Hall of Famer…

    Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!

  99. Buc1987 Says:

“the most exciting QB over the last 20 years.”

“Our first offensive Hall of Famer.”

Ha ha ha ha ha I don’t know what’s more funny Eric or ODB ragging Dr Phillip into the ground.

  100. PRBucFan Says:

Like I said man, the only player to have six rings and a bust in Canton before even stepping foot in an NFL mini camp

    Bwahahaha S M H

  101. Phillip Says:

    @ODB

Ya poor timing to make a spelling mistake but to my defense I’m on my phone where I can’t read the entire thing without zooming out and I have the lovely SwiftKey keyboard that loves to change words when you are typing usually pretty good but not that time apparently… Anyway love the others coming out of their holes running their suck holes.. I feel bad for you guys when your boy Glennon gets benched this season.. Who will you root for then?

GO outside kids I promise if you live in Florida you should be enjoying this weather

  102. Phillip Says:

Btw the way you insult people just show how immature you are and that you are a kid.. Thank you for proving my point.. Sad really when you have Derrick Brooks in your name..

  103. Oil Derrick Brooks Says:

    Boy,

    oh, I’m sorry, Philip,

Are you trying to blame a keyboard on spelling the word spelled as spelt? BWWWHHHAHAAAAA!

Tell you what, I’ll go outside when you pick up a book. Or do I need to explain what a book is for you? It’s that thing that your mammy stuck under the broken table leg to make it level.

And, as far as who I root for, I root for the team. As I have since I was about 8 years old in 1981. Whether Glennon wins or loses the job is fine by me. I just don’t want another wasted 5 years on a crappy first round QB. You were probably a Freeman fan. I can smell their ignorance a mile away.

  104. Oil Derrick Brooks Says:

Wait, do I need to go back and list all the people that you have insulted on here? Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. You are one of those little princesses that can dish it out to people, but can’t take it given back to you.

Tell you what, every time that I read you insulting people on these boards, I’m first going to point it out to you, then, I’m going to insult you equally. My god, what a tool.

  105. Phillip Says:

So you apparently don’t have a job or go outside.. That’s awesome.. If you actually had SwiftKey you would know once you type a word in it will remember it and use it when it thinks you are remotely close to spelling it.. As far as me insulting people.. I have said if I actually do insult someone then they deserve it because they either said something first or continually say the same thing over and over again.. Now go make friends kid or do you need instructions for that? Are you still upset that Joe blasted you on here? Have a good day young buck.. Make mommy and daddy proud!

  106. Oil Derrick Brooks Says:

“once you type a word in it will remember it and use it when it thinks you are remotely close to spelling it.. ”

So, what you are trying to say is that you have used the word “spelt” before in it’s proper usage? Spelt is a type of wheat (I don’t expect some half-wit like you to know that). So, yeah, I don’t buy that. It was in your phone because you spelled it improperly before. Idiot.

So, it’s ok for you, Philip, to insult people if YOU think it’s ok.

HERE YE, HERE YE, EVERYONE: Philip is the one who decides when people can be insulted. But, it’s wrong for other people to insult people? Well guess what, I, too, don’t insult other posters unless they deserve it. What moron hypocrite that you are.

We can go back and compare who has insulted who. You are the person who has done it over and over. I only respond to idiots like you who need some of their own medicine.

So, keep on whining like a little girl.

  107. BoJim Says:

Jeez. What’s with all the name calling and insult trading? Y’all 12 year old’s? Truth is that nobody on here really knows shit about what Lovie and Licht are going to do. We get it!!. You guys don’t like each other. Give it a rest please.

  108. Skipper Says:

I would hope the Bucs would draft Johnny Football if he is there at #7. I agree with Joe, passing on him would be a huge mistake.
