Bucs Have Their “Undercover Cop”

December 11th, 2013

Today Greg Schiano acknowledged the Bucs are getting valuable intelligence from Dashon Goldson on all things 49ers while preparing for Sunday.

Smiling in the locker room, Gerald McCoy said Goldson is the Bucs’ “undercover cop.”

What that all means, Joe doesn’t really know. Joe remembers Ronde Barber talking about how sometimes all that “intelligence” can get a team overthinking to the point it’s detrimental.

Talking to the Bucs media throng today, 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh didn’t want to talk much about Goldson, calling him a “great player, a great friend and a great teammate.”

Hopefully, Goldson’s got great information.

    That would be “great”

Where is the “read more” button? If you don’t put it on here, I’m leaving!!

  3. Snook Says:

Wouldn’t Eric Wright have intel on the Bucs?

It’s a wash. Harbaugh will school Schiano on Sunday.

  4. ChampKind Says:

In that case, I guess Eric Wright is theirs. Non-factor and non-issue.

  5. d-money Says:

    lol @ Chef Paul

Eric Wright was with the Bucs for one season and suspended for a good chunk of it.

New QB, running back, Tight end, wide recievers and only two of the starting defensive backs were even on the team last year with him.

I doubt he has much information to offer.

Eric Wright doesn’t know the difference between his ass hole and a hole in the ground.

I hope we whip the 9ers this week, if we win one more game this year, this is the one I want. Payback!

    Monday’s Tribune headline:

Bucs thrash 9ers, Rays get Seattle to realize “The Price is Right”, Stamkos back in Feb.

  8. Mr. Patrick Says:

49ers could have a letdown this week after just playing their biggest rival then flying across the country. I hope the Bucs can capitalize if so

  9. Splengo Says:

Eric Wright is off the Adderall now, he won’t remember a thing!

  10. Snook Says:

I seriously doubt Schiano has changed much of his defense since Wright left.

Wright is more of a help than Goldson.

  11. Buc1987 Says:

    21-17 Bucs!

  12. PRBucFan Says:

    Explain your logic Snook

How so? How long was Goldson at San Fran?

Im sure he has much more to offer than Wright.

The hawk is lining up against many more familiar faces than Wright is.
