Joe, just the fact that you are saying take two first corners AND bring in Grimes, to me, proves just how good Revis is. We don’t know about college guys, sure. One this year could end up being the best in football. But, not one NFL-experienced corner playing today, has been as dominant in their career. Worth at least one first to Tampa, but really 2014 makes more sense. With Revis they are maybe a piece or two from a playoff birth.

Please Bucs no Revis unless you want more empty seats at the stadium. Signing Revis the Bucs would regret it for years to come. Just look how good he made the Jets.

No way the bucs take Rhodes, he’s not a ” buccaneer man” doesn’t tackle and doesn’t get I.involved if his man isn’t targeted. Trufant is the guy mark it the bucs take the best dt available and trade up for trufant . The “hole ” at Sam is nonsense this is the most u.Der valued position in a 4-3 whether it is q black , a singleton or quarrels before he got good you don’t spend money or a high pick on a Sam lb . Actually Dakota watson will be a really good sam. So Mark my words dt at 13 then trade up for trufant and another cb in the 3rd or
the 4th if tyron Mathieu lasts till then. If we get revis then Wright is cut if not he and trufant are the starters under a restructured deal.

a first rounder this year has more malvue than a first next year…always has. i wonder if dominick is angling to just give up this year’s 1. negotiating back and forth, the just to use this year’s one.

I never wanted Revis…and the Glazers are not pushing him on Dominick…they are simply saying price should not hold him back if it is.

But it SHOULD hold him back. This Revis deal is on a par with the MeShawn deal.

I’m tired of it, they better not give a lions share for Revis! The Bucs have put in some good cornerstones, they drafted excellent last year, and Revis is going to eat a huge piece of the cap. Give them a 2nd round pick, and a conditional for 2014 or walk. Idczik will look like an idiot, and as mentioned by another poster send the Jet to New York next season if he is needed.

I agree w/ the majority sentiment– picks price is too high, & too much money. A #1 in 2014 is potentially invaluable as that may be where the next QB comes from.

Not worth a first round pick this year and certainly not next year and never worht a first and other pick ever. This decision would rank up there with Leftwich as starting QB.
