Everyone is talking about the Bucs turning to Grimes, only I have not heard that Grimes would even want to come here. It takes two to tango. I agree with cmurda, I don’t think the Bucs are really interested in Grimes or any of the other free agent CBs other than Revis. It’s way too quiet.

I think we should sign Grimes to give a solid CB on our roster. It also shows the Jets we are not willing to part with the #13 pick in the draft. They won’t even let us negotiate a contract with him. I also think we should sign Elvis Dumervil to help out our pass rush. He is a really good player and could be had for reasonable money. If we can’t get Elvis then I think we should honestly look at Abrahams. Two reasons why…

1. He can mentor our younger DE’s they seem so set on being our future.
2. He can give us more insight into the Falcons Defense and their signal calling.

If I was the GM I would sign Grimes and Dumervil and draft the best available player at #13. Whether it be a DL or DB jump on it. There should be some really talented players still available that could almost instantly improve our team. Just my opinions…

When are the Jets going to quit being a bunch of beeeotches, and deal us Revis. I think the ONLY REASON those TOOL BAG JETS are doing this is to CREATE MEDIA BUZZ because, we all know there really is only one NFL team in NY, the G-Men.

As much as I have been ready to just fork over the 13th overall pick to get Revis, I do agree with RockStar at least putting the pressure on the Jets. The Jets tried to hold the cards and say they could retain Revis in order to put the pressure on the Bucs. Dom replied with an eff you, then we will move on to Grimes. Great move Rockstar. I doubt that we are sincerely interested in Grimes. I feel that would have happened already if true.
