I know the 49ers don’t have a lot of cap space. I was referring to the ability to trade for Revis with the # of picks they have. Keep in mind that a new Revis contract is not a 2013 issue. Through cuts and restructures they may have the cap space in 2014. Getting late, I’ll look further tomorrow!

Wright will restructure or be gone….up to him. In the cheap restructure laced with incentives for performance, thats about all he has now. Too much damage (his own fault) and Dom surely see’s his mistake in paying the guy so much.

Restructure, play your azs off or move on.

The Bucs would be wise to wrap the Revis deal up as soon as possible, because if the 49ers get back into this and they’re loaded for bear, we’re going to lose!

I wonder if we are interested in Grimes but want to make the Revis trade first. Maybe that’s why they are caving. Grimes agent could have indicated that he would play in Tampa but only if Revis was there. I don’t know. That may be a little too far fetched. I just hope something happens soon

Obviously nobody is going to make that trade without first negotiating a long term contract. Think a little bit.
And if you think Revis is worth less than a 1st round pick you’re nuts. When I said a 1st and a conditional 4th next year I was aiming low. I would be suprised if he came that cheap honestly.

There is no bidding war, but somehow, some way, we’re going to cave in to Izdic for our first round pick anyway. …for 1 year?

We essentially are desperate now, and they know it, when Woody said they may decide to keep him, Dominik a-hole puckered up. Actually, I’m surprised Izdic hasn’t upped his demand for this, and next years first rounders.

The only way I would have give them our first rounder is if they give us Revis and a later round pick to boot.

If the Bucs are honestly not worried about Revis’s prior injury then I say give up the 1st. Like stated earlier, if Freeman doesn’t undoubtedly prove his franchise label next year, we will need to draft a QB. Next year’s first could be more valuable than this year’s.

soooo who at 13 is better than Revis? ACL’s are common nowadays. Peterson, Welker, and others have come back no problem. If we give up 13 for the best CB in the league…GO FOR IT
