I agree with Jersybuc, give them Blount, Benn and a 2nd, those two are expendable yet decent players in positions that the jets need. and with Goldson on a private jet I feel he is a lock, so with (revis, Goldson, Cox, )Barron and johnson, gaitor we will have a very solid if not elite secondary…

Not for nothing, but who doesn’t come back from the ACL surgery these days? I don’t think I can remember a situation where someone had ACL surgery and they said that it ended up ending his career. I remember Robert Edwards when he played for the patriots had massive reconstructive knee surgery but he destroyed his entire leg. Anyone with just an ACL tear usually comes back pretty strong given that they aren’t too old. It’s fairly routine.

That being said, I was really angry when Tom Brady won comeback player of the year over Cadillac Williams. He had just an ACL tear while Williams had almost his entire knee reconstructed.

Get Revis, draft Trufant (assuming we don’t surrender a 1st rounder), draft another CB in the 3rd and sign Cox for depth

Revis would have to pass a physical for everything to be approved. I would imagine the Bucs would have a lot of people look is knee over very thoroughly. If they don’t like what they see he does not pass the physical and the trade is null and void.
