Wright is an end of the month problem. He’s back burner right now… unless someone wants to trade for him.

We are already 30million under, we can sign who we want now, focus on Free Agency now, then deal with Wright at the end of the month.

Um, it’s actually quite a bit below average for an NFL cornerback. ProSports, Waltfootball, and just about every other sports information source all called Wright’s contract a huge overpayment for a bad CB.

And they were right. In a world of decent people, Wrights agent would be freaking out that his client betrayed the team, by being a drug user.

Instead, he’s still trying to get More money for the Jerk.

I hope the league upholds Dom’s voiding the contract. I then hope we aquire enough talent to dump him. He lucked in to a huge contract- beyond his skill level. Then didn’t have enough sense to stay clean long enough to cash in!

Joe, don’t forget that all agents get a hefty percentage of the pay, I believe it is between 10 & 15%,

Nnnooo… believe NFL agents are capped at two percent. Don’t think it is any more than four percent. It is less than five, do know that.

I am a Dom supporter, but this has to be THE worst of his sighnings.
He overpaid for a slightly above average CB, who was invisible on the field when he wasn’t hurt or suspended. openly talked about how he was relaxing, while suspended, on vacation while our secondary was getting tourched every sunday. Then has the nerve to protest his contract like he did nothing wrong the while season?
Pitiful.
Cut this doutche.We don’t need him…

I think it’s pretty safe to say that this ends his time in Tampa no matter the outcome. He and his agent wouldn’t be fighting this unless the Bucs had told him to take a huge pay cut or hit the road.

Joe, don’t forget that all agents get a hefty percentage of the pay, I believe it is between 10 & 15%, but you would know better than me what it is. Even at only 10%, the agent get $775,000 if they win. That is worth the lawsuit.

I bet it’s Wright decision to file the grievance, as I read in Tampa Bay Times the buccs stand to win this suit.

Yeah Last ditch effort to keep getting overpaid. I don’t blame him for trying, he won’t see that kind of money again.
