Jarvis Jones is a great player, but his neck injury is really scary. You know its bad when USC refused to let him play, instead allowing him to transfer to UGA. If our Doctors clear him and don’t think it is that serious I would love to get him at #13. But, from what I’ve read, he is one really bad hit away from being paralyzed. Which I know, any player in the league has that risk. It is just scary. But he is by far the best pass rusher in this draft. Might be worth it in the middle of the 1st round.

“Bloodlines” are overrated (Casey Matthews), especially when the other ones in family are mediocre players in the NFL.

I like Trufant as much as any corner in this draft. Watch this guy’s interviews…he’s a competitor…he’s a talker and plays physical. Let’s keep in mind that Milliner had the advantage of having the best front 7 in the NFL in front of him…who was playing defensive line at Washington. Trufant should, and I think will, be the pick.

I’ve been saying this since day one. If we can’t trade forward or back, then don’t screw around and take a CB with the #13th pick. There’s only about 6 cb’s who you can call real cover corners, after that, they are all nicklebacks. If we wait till the 2nd round, they may no longer be available to draft.

This guy is actually my favorite corner in the draft. I think he has the attitude it takes to be a top CB. Plus you KNOW he’s going to try and outperform his brothers. I would love to see us get this guy but I really don’t think we have to do it at #13. I think we could trade down, if there is someone willing, and still get him in the bottom half of the round.

Biggers is a speedy CB 4.38 guy. Speed isn’t everything. I know Trufant is was better,but speed doesn’t mean everything.

Sean Smith isn’t worth it.

Desmond Trufant? I would respect this pick.

I don’t want Vaccaro. He is a 4.6 guy.

Barron isn’t a burner. We need more speed alongside him in the future.

I like the idea of getting a true FS to develop with Barron. Solidify our safeties.

Trufant would be a solid pick. Our corners were too slow. We need SPEED.

Trufant brings that.

Trufant 4.38 not much difference,but not 4.31. Like Tavon Austin,but Stedman Bailey we could pick up in the 3rd and he’s just as good IMO. I want pass rush Jarvis Jones , Dion Jordan, Damontree Moore, Star Lotulelei or Sheldon Richardson in the first at 13. Anyone else I recommend trading down if anything atleast a 4th rd pick. I like picking up one of the CBs in free agency Sean Smith/Keenan Lewis/Cary Williams/Derrick Cox all in that order. Then get Banks in the 2nd or Amerson in the 3rd.

I love Trufant, as I’ve said in previous post. I wouldn’t be against taking him at #13. His tape at Washington is shut down caliber and a 4.31 40 is better than most WRs in the league. The dude is straight legit. His 40 time hurt us though…we could’ve had him with our 2nd round pick before that number was posted. I want to wait and see how FA goes first. I’m really liking the Tavon Austin pick at #13 if we can get Sean Smith and another CB in FA. That’s just my opinion though. Can’t wait til the 12th and this process gets started!

If Trufant is their guy, the Bucs should not hesitate to take him at 13, as he and Rhodes both did well for themselves at the combine where not too many people will be surprised if they’re both gone after pick 16. No reason to gamble that they won’t be there if they trade back.

Of course if they don’t like either of them, and they have the opportunity to trade back, then they absolutely should.
