I see it the opposite. I think we will sign 2 corners and draft 1. If we think we are gonna upgrade our secondary by playing rookies everywhere… they are going to be sadly disappointed.

There’s no reason at all to believe FA’s won’t come here.

Fact is we are an attractive, young, up and coming team in a preferred state for many players.

A dismal 2011 season didn’t keep the two biggest names in FA from coming here either

We can offer money all day long to every single free agent cornerback out there, but it all comes down to, Do they want to come here? Cox would be a nice addition, but I have a feeling to lure him here we will have to pay him elite money, just to have him laying on the training table every time you turn around. I feel if you’re going to have to spend so much money in the first place then go after the best CBs in free agency. Cox is not the best, and I will only be satisfied with him as long as we don’t over-pay, like we did Eric Wright.

I wouldnt mind seeing this Cox kid on our team. When he is on the field he is way better than any other corner on our roster right now. I think we are going to let Wright compete he could win the #2 corner position. We need to bring in one or two free agent corners that know how to play right now, and then draft another 2 or 3. We need a complete overhaul of the CB position. Also if Dashon Goldston doesnt get franchised we need to throw a bunch of money at him. He is in his prime and I could imagine how hard we would be hitting people with him and Barron running around next to each other.

I say cullen jenkins too..We need a vet up front to help the youngsters. He might not be a buccaneer man bcus he yelled at Andy Reid last season! Lmao!

Off topic: if the dixie chicks get Steven Jackson then we need to draft a DT 1 round. Plus a beastly middle LB. If the Panties get Mike Wallace we better get some fast corners.

Scott Reynolds has far better sources than Pawlowski, so when he says the top targets are Smith, Lewis and Toler I believe him. I would think Cox has to be further down the wish list for the Bucs. That doesn’t mean the Bucs won’t sign him, however, because you don’t always get the players at the top of your list every year.

Cox is alright for depth, but we need to acquire a legitimate pro bowler. We need to get rid of Wright, he sucks and is payed way too much.

Sign cox and toller and draft a cb in the 2nd rd. Resign ronde and use a 4th rd pick for his replacement And that may solve our secondary woes!!!!

I like Smith, have doubts about Cox due to injuries, but no one seems to be mentioning Antoine Cason. He would be a nice counter to Smith and a draft pick. Let’s not forget we can expect Barron to be much improved this year at safety.
