Bring Abraham. He is still playing at a good level at 34. He’s better than anyone else of our DE 10 sacks/6FF he’s still got some in him. 2 year deal would be good. Osi would be nice also. Clayborn Bowers 1st&2nd down and Abraham&Osi on 3rd. They’d both me mentors and cheap I think.

Turner was a good short yardage back. It is now being reported that he was released because he couldn’t pass the team physical. He has had nagging groin injuries that he’s played with the last 2years, but evidently was getting worse.

I hope the Bucs take a look at Chris Ivory. He’s a RFA likely to get a UDFA tender. If offered a contract, the Bucs would not have to give up a draft pick.

Why don’t one of you nasayers ask Freeman if he thinks Abraham can play some football? He still has enough gas in his tank to knock a lot of buts on the grass. He will not last long in FA.

If these guys are willing to be backups and not play for a ton of money (probably not very likely), I don’t have a problem with it. As we have learned every year, you have to have quality depth, and these 3 positions seem to be the ones we get hit hardest with injuries year after year.

Turner is still a damn good short yardage back, and he could be a decent back to give Doug a rest. Robinson has always been one of my least favorite players because I see him as a dirty player since he always seems to lead with his head. However, after last year, I’ll pretty much take anyone at CB. He could be terrible and still be a huge upgrade over anyone we had in 2012. Abrahan can give us some depth, but I hope we aren’t stupid enough to believe he is an adequate replacement for Michael Bennett. As a backup, I can definitely see him helping us.

Trivia: Abraham was drafted by the Jets with one of the #1 picks the Bucs gave up for Meshawn. How’s that trade look now?

Still looks GREAT, the Bucs got a Superbowl, ATL do not.

John Abraham would make sense. Clayborn is coming back from an injury and Bowers could still be in trouble with the law and/or Goodell. We some quality depth.

Amen Joe. Not only would they make the team better this year, but the depth, veteran presense and excitement of having a few names on the roster to talk about too.

It would be exciting. The young guys could learn from some real pros for a change.
