I believe that last years draft gives dominik the benefit of the doubt when it comes to the draft. I seriously doubt he takes an OL or CB in first round based on his history and if those are bpa then he’s gonna trade down.

If there is a run on CBs in the bottom of the first and top of the second round like I suspect, the Bucs need to draft a CB with the first pick, or be left in the cold, for a premium CB, before their 2nd round pick. Miami is pick #12 and their are rumblings coming out that they are considering CB Xavier Rhodes, even though he’s considered a later round choice. Is Miami over-reaching? Perhaps, but when the talent level drops-off the cliff after the top 5 CB, you either bite the bullet and draft one early, or be left looking for scraps later.

Doesn’t matter, I don’t recall anyone predicting that the Bucs were even interested in Mark Barron this past draft. We just don’t know until the day of.

No need to panic or go overboard! There will be more low hanging fruit than we will be able to pick. We need to keep our powder dry and let things unfold. Davis, Dominik, and Schiano has got this!

“They’ve kind of cut bait. I’ve not heard any talk about anything other than a straight cut,” said Person. Gamble, 30 next Month, will not be offered a pay cut, and his current cap number sits at $10.95 million, third-highest on the team. He’s likely to enter a deep free-agent corner market, so Gamble could be a bargain for some team.

Exactly, both of them “believe” in Josh, so that has to be a good sign.
