AC’s a candidate for DROY last year birth defect has absolutely nothing to do with anything. He has played with that his entire career and is still a beast.
His current injury happens in the NFL, it’s not unheard of, it will heal

Roy Miller showed his value this year in the run game but like I said in my previous post i can see a desire to want an upgrade here.

Teo is serviceable and is a project that so far has proven satisfactory

IF Bennett doesn’t get resigned than by all means go for a pass rusher with the first pick.

And even apart from the DB’s there’s still other positions that fit need and BPA we should go after. I know EVERY year it seems we should go after the best pass rushers available but it’s time we start addressing other positions of need and we can do that by continuing last years draft pattern.

And by the way Houston has really good cornerbacks. If you want to make a good comparison, look at New Orleans. They had a bad secondary and as a result also had low sack numbers. I know you think you’re the smartest one in the room but this time I think you’re wrong.

There will be quite a number of pass rushers to develop in the later rounds, and considering the Bucs track record on taking DT and DE in the first round is mediocre at best. If the Bucs choose Ansah and he has a subpar season when the few best corners taken first help their teams win, you’ll be the first to scream and yell for Dominks head after you conveniently forgot that you advocated for Ansah to be our first pick.

Just because we have #13 doesn’t mean we have to pick anyone with that pick, if anything, just like JobBucsFan said, we could trade back that pick and pick up additional draft picks and choose a corner further down in a more appropriate spot.

I agree with JobBucsFan and PRBucFan that our secondary is the cause for low sack numbers.

Free Agency will be used to get some CBs. We need to draft the BPA at #13.

I don’t have faith in our current group of linemen. GMC had good year, Bowers has a jacked up kneee, Clayborn has a birth defect and is coming off of major knee surgery, Roy Miller is nothing fancy, and Teo’Neshiam had 4 whole sacks- whoooopdy doooooo!

We had 27 sacks as a team this year, JJ Watt had 20.5 alone.

We need a better pass rush, and this year’s draft features greater top end talent with D-Linemen than it does with Corners.

CBs in this draft are 3 rounds deep, and after Milliner it is a wash.

I have faith in the talent we have already spend draft picks on along our d-line and believe that once healthy they will be a force.

I also believe we have gaping holes to fill eslewhere.

Line him up and let him after Bree’s, Matty Ice, and Scam NeWton.

He is a Jason Pierre Paul kind of talent. JPP went 18th overall in his draft, I hope Ansah is there at #13 this April.

He would instantly be our leading sacker, barring health.

He is better than Bruce Irvin, and he had 10 sacks this year.

There have been plenty of sure fire “can’t miss” pass rush prospects that have proved quite the opposite way too often. We know that all too well.
