I would make a comment about the risks of signing a corner coming off a major knee injury to a top dollar free agent contract but the mashup pic of Shaun King and a fatter Warren Sapp to the left has given me the incentive to go to the gym tonight instead :::shudders:::

If Eifert can run in the 4.5′s or low 4.6′s then I’ll rethink it, otherwise I am very against using that high of a pick on a TE. That position is being very overvalued right now IMO.

I can’t believe I’m saying this but I actually agree with King on Revis. The Jets want to much, a 1st and 2nd in this years draft, plus Revis will probably try to exploit the bank as well. Move on.

Shaun King is starting to look like a bloated Micheal Wilbon. I like Xavier Rhodes out of Florida State. Great size/speed combo.

Eifert looks to be able to do the same kind of things Jimmy Graham can do. If he can, you are sadly mistaken if you think thats not worth the 13th pick. With a TE like that this offense should score 30+ points every game… thats assuming Freeman can be somewhat consistant.

Joe, what do you think about the Bucs going after Ed Reed and pairing him up with Barron, he would be a great teacher for Barron and Black, and moving Ronde back to corner if he stays and addressing corner in FA and draft. Is there any noise on Reed and Tampa Bay?

No to Revis.
No to a CB in the 1st round.
Hell no on Antonio Cromartie. The Jets had to pay up all of his back child support before California would even allow him to move out of the state. He’s a deadbeat loadmouthed idiot.

Restructure Erik Wright, sign another first or second tier FA corner, and use a 2nd or 3rd round pick on a CB.
This year’s 1st round is going to be all about offensive and defensive linemen. That’s where the best value is going to be.
