No doubt in my mind Ronde plays one more year. I think him and Mark make a great tandem at Safety and Ahmed Black is ready to step in when Ronde is done.
They just need CBs,

As for McCoy…. the haters out there fail to realize that MOST DT sacks come from edge rushers forcing the QB up in the pocket.
McCoy had 5 sacks. Get a good edge rusher, or have Bowers and Clayborn REALLY step up this year, and McCoy is closing in on 10 sacks. Can’t ask for anything more than stuffing the run and 6-10 sacks from a DT.

All those questions and nothing stuck to the Teflon Dom. I especially liked the last paragraph.

Lot of disruption again for us (very few GMC tackles). He set a career high in sacks for us which (he beat Te’o and Miller), I know he can continue to (even blinds squirrels find nuts) build upon. In terms of negative yards, (Lavonte was great, but credit GMC) he was the driving force in why we were so strong against the run. We just have to improve again on the pass (rush) but Gerald was really disruptive ($11 million) big man. He’s 6-5 and 305 pounds (so’s his sister). He can really get upfield (too bad everyone else is downfield). He has great getoff (he guesses the snap count). When you look at our defense, if we can get all of our guys healthy (if we can get Schiano to scrap the damn gauntlets) for next year, especially on that defensive front, I am excited about all of our (except the 25% we’re going to cut) defensive players.

(Fans just need to read between the lines.)

Dominick says “we missed out on some wins because we did not finish.” No Dom we missed out on some wins because Freeman lost total composure in a 3 game stretch in the middle of a playoff run and threw 8 picks in a 2 game span. Hopefully he realizes this because I am pretty sure Greg Schiano does.

Until Barber decides he wants to play or not next season, no talks can begin. Barber will do the samething he did last year in take all the time he has and will make a decision at the last minute. Nothing wrong with that.
