@Killian We have this beautiful thing in our country called the 4th Amendment. It protects citizens from being illegally stopped, seized, searched by law enforcement. When officers violate someones 4th amendment rights, any evidence obtained thereafter is (typically) thrown out.

That said, it appears based on the clerk’s website that the State Attorney’s Office stood silent on Black’s Motion to Dismiss. That most likely happened because they couldn’t show he was in possession of the marijuana since another person was in the car with him. None of us want our Bucs players to be putting themselves in that kind of situation, but there are some very good reasons that cases like Black’s get thrown out in court.

So let me get this right. Black had weed, got pinched and is now getting let off the hook because it was an “illegal stop.” Ladies and gentlemen, this is what’s wrong with America’s justice system. While I could care less if he smokes or not, he was dumb enough to get caught with it and should face the consequences. It’ll be interesting to see if he gets a couple game suspension or not. Way to put yourself ahead of the team idiot.

I have to agree with you on that one. Being a stoner is not as bad for you’re health and being an alchy. BUT on a football standpoint, you shouldn’t be smoking anything at all. Impacts you’re stamina in a negative way. Also getting booked for pot while in the NFL is a whole bunch worse then just being a normal working citizen, you’re in the NFL and its online and on the news like that.. Black’s lucky hes able to play cause if it was our WR Douglas or our DE Levington (?) They would be off the team very quick.
